    Quoted from ForceFlow:

Yep, by noon on saturday, a lot of pins were already out the door again like last year.
I left about an hour later since the lines were getting long for the few DMDS that were left.
    But, Friday was fun

I'll have to bite the bullet and take Friday off next year. It seems like a lot of the games still left are either not working, sold, shut off or have no credits left in them. It's a bummer

    #152 8 years ago

Just got home! Nice seeing a bunch of you....

    #153 8 years ago
    Quoted from mac622:

I'm here as well with my restored Whirlwind. Great show but I see quite a few games leaving already which is disappointing?

I tend not to play to many games at these showsbut made it a pont toplay yours. Thought youdid a wonderful job on that whirlwind.

    #154 8 years ago

Did anyone have problem with the teenage boy & girl who were hogging the Mustang?

When it was my turn to play, they got so impatient (was my best game ever on Mustang). They started hanging all over me. When I asked them to stop, the boy then stood next to me and just starting farting.

    Un-f__king believable.

    #155 8 years ago

I end up playing very few games also. Brought a couple A-town 1st timers with me, they enjoyed it a lot. I love going for parts and getting my shopping list filled by the vendors. Thank you Vendors!

Thanks very much! I received a some very nice compliments from others as well. I'm glad I brought and could share it. Makes all that work worth while !

A lot of rude people there.

That said, I met SO many Pinsiders that I wanted to say hello to. (Looked for you, Trekkie, and didn't see your Jets hoodie or Batman machine!) Missed seeing a lot of people I would have liked to meet, but it was difficult to even find people I knew inside that mess of people and machines.

Great show, and I'm looking forward to it next year.

Until then...I'm looking forward to Pintastic New England!

Seriously, thank god I'm not the only one noticing this, and not just this year. My friends and I call them fartbombers. Was waiting with some friends to play Haunted House when someone let one loose that was so bad we had to walk away.

At the last York show I was having a stellar game of Rollergames. Guy who was waiting behind me came up next to me like he was looking at a machine and just ripped a loud and wet one. The kind you can taste. I told him where the bathroom was, drained and left the game for him to play.

Anyway, had a great time, loved meeting everyone and seeing folks who I haven't seen since last year. I didn't play in the tournament but from the lines it looked like it was going really well. Did a bit too much drinking on Friday night and felt it Saturday morning but still hung in until around 3:30pm.

Looking forward to the next one!

    #159 8 years ago

Whoa...people were crop dusting to free up a machine?

Yeah that was just wrong, I had five pins there, was down to 2 by the end, left them running right up to the close, and sold one just before I was ready to fold it, Glad I didn't pull out early.
I had the Zac EWF there and I just enjoyed watching people play my pins and make positive comments.
    Great show

Mine is the only WW I see here but I don't have a price on it

That game was really nice. Thanks for bringing it.

    Quoted from Blackbeard:

    Was yours the $5000 one?

I think you are talking about that "restored" earthshaker.

    #163 8 years ago

Fartbombers! Haha. The kind you can taste? lol... Horrible!

    #164 8 years ago

Only downside to this show, was getting constantly busted for tailgating with a couple friends drinking
a beer or two, renta cop wanted to actually look in my cooler. didn't get that far though.
I got green clouded one time inside, so bad it made me gag, they got to stop selling brussel sprouts
    over at Dans BBQ!!

Did anyone else have trouble finding what was restored on that ES? It was a nice game but far from restored and I'd say a bit pricey at $5k!

Thanks! Had you not been out of stock last week I would have had an LEDOCD installed in it to show off how cool your boards work!

I saw them but didn't bother trying to play as they were on it every time I walked past. Sorry for laughing but your post just made me lol. Not quite sure how I would have reacted to that.

I spotted you at one point Saturday morning (you're kinda hard to miss!) but didn't get over to say 'hi'. We would've been up for joining y'all Friday night, drunken karaoke is always fun.

Thanks for keeping 'em busy, we tailgated on and off all day and never got a second glance.

my buds and I were sitting outside NOT drinking anything,
rent a cop came by and accused all of us drinking, I told him we had no beer for him and asked what his name was? He got off his John Deere gator and got pissed, telling me not to get smart with him! and started snooping around our trucks? I was like wtf is this? Is this some bad 80's movie? I told him to go get the police, that I would deal with them directly- we did nothing wrong. He then left and I never saw him again. It was 8 people having laughs (and no booze believe it or not at this point in the day) vs his word. I determined he wasn't playing with a full deck. Probably then, not the best job for someone to wear a fake badge.

    #170 8 years ago

Luckly. I had no problem drinking Rum, Fireball and beer...at the outside flea market.

Was that the guy missing all his teeth?

    #172 8 years ago

He drove past my wife and I sitting in chairs in the grass drinking cans of beer next to our van. Never said a word and he saw us because I wasn't trying to hide it.

    #174 8 years ago

These rent a cops should be walking the floor searching for farters...like that teenage boy at Mustang.

The people who are outside having a beer...leave them the f__k alone. They aren't bothering people, causing problems, or passing gas.

Somebody crop dusted us big time while waiting for Big Lebowski. All of us in the line commented on it.

    You mean this guy?

A few of us were having a few while checking out the stuff we bought. Captain Buzzkill came over to assert himself and started snooping around the truck. He then proceeded to interrogate us about what was in the cooler.

Nothing like a rowdy bunch of middle age men taking about pinball machines and checking out a box of circuit boards.

    What an ass.

it's ridiculous! If we tell him we don't have beer, and he doesn't see any beer, move along! Driving around on a John Deere gator, smh.

We ended up skipping Saturday. After grabbing lunch we hit the road.

Did you end up winning that Blue Ribbon for the Earth Wind and Fire? How did you make out with the sale?

I'm not sure what his issue was to be honest. I understand doing your job, but if it's in a cup and no one is getting out of control, what's the harm? We were just enjoying the nice weather hanging out with some friends, and some great pinball conversation.

My buddy had also just bought his first pin, so we were celebrating too.

No, the Rocky won, it was really nice, I was honored to have my pin selected as a finalist though,
I sold 4 out of 5 pins, EWF came home, and after I saw all the interest in it and all the "wow never
saw one of those before" comments, it earned it's right to stay in my lineup for a while! Was so close to selling it. One guy walked on a $50.00 difference. I wasn't desperate to sell it at that point.
I picked up the Gilligan's Island that was there, It will be a great pin after a flipper rebuild.
and got a Silverball mania that I split with another pinsider, I took the lower cab, he took the head.
Talk about a deal that worked out nice for both of us.

    #182 8 years ago

Played that gilligan's island, and was surprised at how many cool shots there are. Nice pickup!

    #183 8 years ago

Next year, I'm gonna try and get up there for 6pm on the Friday.

If next year, it is pouring, I'll be able to leave my business a little bit earlier.

Good call, that was a really nice machine. I probably uttered those words too, definitely remember admiring it.

Let me get this damn wedding out of the way so I can spend frivolously again. Wouldn't have agreed to the deal if she didn't want pins in the house.

Yep, that was it. "Restored" mean it's gotta be worth at least $5000.

    It was player.
