I'll go Saturday if I'm feeling it, but probably not. It's overcrowded and a bunch of machines are gone already.

All day Saturday. A few college friends and I are going up.
I love going up there, brings me back to my college days.

I'll be there dragging a friend along for Friday and Saturday! I just made the resv at the comfort suite after realizing it's right around the corner!!
Friday at noon. Will be wearing my Pinside Tag just for the look on my wife's face before I leave the house. 
I will be there friday around 5 pm and all day saturday hanging in the outdoor flea market area eating and drinkin' beer

first show. do you guys print out the name badges here and wear them or is that considered lame? i think it would be cool to meet some of the people after nearly a year of sponging off your technical skills. also if you do wear them how do you affix them. I know I'm setting myself up for a good ball-bustin' "yeah RC, it's customary to staple it to a headband like Mike Reno from Loverboy..."

I was thinking the same thing...but I've decided that Allentown probably isn't the place to do Pinside badges. I'd feel like too much of a douchebag (and I don't need help with that). Since they do wristbands there, you just slap one on, wander the grounds incognito, and hope nobody you insulted online recognizes you. (Although I've had fellow Pinsiders give me up in the past...)

I didn't see anyone with a pinside badge or name tag lanyards last year.
I'm not big on name badges, but was trying to think of another way to identify myself as a pinsider without something too tacky. Maybe a pin or small sticker of some sort? I dunno. Maybe the pinside pinball printed on a sticker the size of a penny?

I'll tell you why. If there isn't already an existing badge hanging there, it's like you're walking around saying, "Hey! I'm on Pinside!" like that's some badge of honor or something. It's a freakin' forum. I just think it's kind of douchey, but to each their own. I won't do it. I really do think it'll make me look like the dork pictured above. I'll proudly wear it at ReplayFX when I have a badge on a lanyard already. Not so bad then.
And I wouldn't take you into the bathroom and beat you up because you'd probably kick my fat ass around the joint, then shove my head in the toilet and give me a swirly.
I have seen pinside lanyards in the past with forum names printed on them. I have often wished we all had them so we could realize who we "know" that might be standing next to us. That being said, I would never be able to bring myself to wear one If anyone wants to find me (to say"hey" or maybe give me a purple nurple for being a smartass), I am the bald bastard drinking beer in the outdoor flea market area. Not sure what t shirt will be clean that day, but that's the one I'll be wearing.
