    Quoted from MeatWithGravy:

Hi, noob here. I'm considering attending Pinfest 2015. It would be my first ever pinball show. I'd bring the wife and we'd be traveling from Brooklyn. We don't have a vehicle so we'd have to rent one.

My first Allentown was last year, I went to sell a pin and maybe pick one up. I drove out and back in one day from Hartford, CT. It was a long day, but not a big deal.

You will get tons of help if you ask in Allentown. I'm sure you will have access to tools to remove legs, heads, etc. Getting a pin in your vehicle will be no problem, as pinheads are a helpful folk.

You should measure your door with the door removed. I always have to remove my basement door to get a bit more clearance. Bring a tape measure to Allentown. Most heads are just under 29 inches and should fit. If needed, you can remove the head completely to eliminate this width, but this requires unplugging a bunch of cable harnesses and then reconnecting them once in the home. Not a huge deal, but it can be confusing and daunting the first time.

I hope to be there as well.
