Looking for an Ice Cold Beer in any condition

#107 5 years ago

Thinking about trekking the 6 hours for this show. Would stay overnight.

Worth it? I do the ohio show, but it's only 2 hours away.

How do they compare?

#108 5 years ago

I was the one that has been putting together the spreadsheet for the past couple of years. It was not used much last year so I opted to not do it this year. If there a enough interest, I will create one and post it.

It is a special show. It's in May the weather has a good chance of being nice, the farmers market steps away is fantastic, the outdoor flea market is nice to go outside from the show and the pin selection the last few years in the bigger much more air conditioned space has been great. Good deals, good food and good pin peeps from all around and your BSD

Does not seem to be working, at least I can't add or change anything.

#124 5 years ago

I'm bringing a very nice, freshly detailed WCS94. New rubbers including urethane flipper rubbers, new balls, new soccer ball on pf, new soccer ball plunger rod, full LED treatment. Looking for lot's of things (Johnny Mnemonic, Avatar, anything on my Pinside Wish List). Trades =/- cash considered where appropriate. I will only be there for Saturday.

Is this going to be the "official" spreadsheet?

I can't make that decision. All I can do is offer something. If people want to use it, please feel free.

Looking for [...] Avatar

Just an FYI... I *SHOULD* be bringing an Avatar if all goes well. Will be for sale (can't do trades on this one).

Thanks!

Thanks! I used Cointaker purple frosted for the GI. It honestly looks better in person, though perhaps not quite as purple. It's hard to get LEDs to show properly in pics. I did use white frosted under the teal plastics (pop covers and upper lane guides) as the purple ones made the teal plastics look blue.

Thanks! I used Cointaker frosted for everything. Purple for most of the GI (cool white under the teal pops and teal upper lane guides). I used matching colors for inserts with the following exceptions:

Orange inserts: warm white LEDs
Yellow inserts: cool white LEDs
White soccer ball inserts: blue LEDs
Ticket inserts: purple LEDs

I like to experiment a bit with lighting. I am really pleased with the way this one turned out! Looks even better in person.

I also used green, yellow and red LEDs for the ramp signs and duplicated that on the skill shot lights. Lastly, there was a color-changing LED above the magnet on the mini pf when I got the pin. I liked the effect so I left that one there. I have no idea who made that LED or where it came from.

I got one of those, BSD, LOTR, RS, and more coming

#149 5 years ago

Eabundy's IJ plays awesome. The cabinet is faded but the playfield condition is one of the best unrestored playfields I've seen in an IJ. If you're looking for a good solid IJ, contact him.
