Even without the light board that Tsskinne refers to, replacing with a socket (in bulk from Pinball Life is $1.05) and a Comet LED (bulk is 0.59) and the math definitely works out for these yoppsicles. Add a resistor for $.02 and you are good with your original Bally lamp board. Or go with the light board as Tommy mentions or get the Seigecraft boards for less soldering.
I'm going to definitely consider these in the future.
Any plans on how to implement something for GI lighting or will we still have to use the ol' socket/bulb combo?
