I nearly missed out on the opportunity to help with the 'Robyn Project'. I seldom look up at the blue stickies, and I passed over the thread down in the postings and only came back to check it out when I saw Robyn's name included in it.

In order for this project to work, we ALL need to keep a NEW TOPIC thread going, or BUMP UP a thread so that no forum members miss reading about it. I am convinced the goal will be reached PROVIDING we keep this 'advertised' so new members or existing members definitely know about it.

I just PM'd you. I also saw where you live, near San Luis Abispo. I once lived in Carmel up the coast from you.

I also saw you have a Black Rose. I've been thinking of getting one of these. We need to talk sometime.

I wonder if any of my kids went to school with you at Greenwood.
We live off of Cemetery Road . . .

Class of '98 here. Bowling Green is a great area and I still think about it often. I have not been there in so long but I'm pretty sure I remember Cemetery Road. I had a couple of girlfriends in that area...not at the same time.

If you have a chance to pick up a Black Rose in good shape for a decent price, DON'T HESITATE. It is a fun machine. Not too easy, but not too hard either. It still kicks my ass often. Plus, there is a lot of options for LED's with all of the clear inserts.

I know we can do this. We just need EVERYONE to anit-up whatever they can afford. Most of us have spent $150 on a tinker toy mod I think we can send $20 or $30 to our friend in the form of a NEW pin.

I know not all pinhead visit every single day but, I certainly hope that more than 20 pinheads would like to donate. I know a few are still coming in snail mail and a few maybe waiting for payday. I remain optimistic. What kind of pin raffle? Mike, you already went way above and beyond!
