I used the black chrome version inside my Metallica, and it came out nice.

Anyone have experience removing Hulk to get at the "Pivot Weldment?" Any tips. It's scary as hell in the manual.

Maybe you can take his torso off (2 or 4 screws through the back, I believe), remove his arms (screws in the side of each arm), then remove the set screw in the weldment and slide the arm pivot shaft out?
It wasn't as bad as I thought. A set screw and another screw detach Hulk from the bottom, 4 screws and 2 bolts to remove the lower assembly. The pain in the ass was the Locktite on the sub assembly. Needed the heat gun for that. I have a friend who's going to reweld it for me. The post snapped off from a weak weld. Looking at the assembly, they probably could have gotten away with one coil in the design.
