BW difficulty should be hard, since the new code allows spinner hits to count. IM set to easy for sure.

You are no wuss! Game is hard and shots are tight. We have outlanes set to full open, loose tilt, the ball save set to 5 seconds, Iron Man set to easy and everything else on medium. We put a playfield protector on and new red Titan rubbers this week, machine looks awesome!

despite its bad reputation, I find this game is fun to play ... I have adjusted a few settings so that it is to my liking ...
I made a lot of adjustments, the former owner had very poorly adjusted ...
the game did not even have the latest code (1.7) it was in 1.4
once settled, I find the game just super good ...
there is a good balance between the multiballs, and the missions of the characters
the battles between the characters are really cool
the tray is true, fairly stripped, with a pretty chip design
but finally the ball circulates quite well
I reworked the lights, with blue and red ambiances it is supperbe

there are ways to find an avengers for cheap. and I find that it is a very good pinball for someone who will like to begin in the universe of the flipper

going to mini wizard mode, completed
than going to BFE, and only missing 2 IRON MAN shoots (before easy HULK)

Did anyone ever make green translucent plastic protectors for HULKLE. I love the way it changes the look.
I have blue in Tron, just put orange in GOTLE. Would love to have some even if it was just the slings.

I have had one of these before and have finally sourced a great HUO HULKLE. Now i have to remember what mods i had on the other one.

Can an LE or Premium owner do me a favor? Trying to help diagnose an LE machine just purchased and noticed that when any of the THOR drop targets get hit, it shows "2500" for points initially, but actually awards 3610. Is that normal?

So I finally found a nice HUO Hulk locally and decided to pull the trigger. I’ve wanted once since they came out. This is such a great underrated game! I’ve been working on it and playing it since I brought it home last Saturday. Some of the things I’ve done so far:

1. Green undercab lighting
2. LED strips on the back of the back box tied to flashers
3. Trimmed the Thor plastic so I can see the drop targets
4. Fixed the Hulk arms so the ball doesn’t get stuck
5. Shimmed the Black Widow ramp for perfectly smooth shots
6. Trimmed the Loki lock plastic to make the right orbit visible
7. Added the clear sling shot plastic mod so the Loki inserts are visible
8. Corrected the lighting for the apron (looks much better in person)
9. Changed the coin door bulbs to green LEDs
10. Installed brighter LEDs in the apron spotlights
11. Changed all the flasher bulbs to LEDs

And the one thing this game desperately needed...a brighter playfield!

12. Added 4 spotlights on playfield

The Avenger speaker acrylics and LEDs will be here tomorrow, and I’m still trying to decide if the color DMD is worth the price tag. Can’t think of much else to do to this game.

Looks good, game needs mirror blades.

I used to have the clear Tesseract cube in mine but it's so heavy it doesn't spin well. So I put the original cube back in, but kept the blue flasher behind it. Still lights up pretty well, and my cube spins super fast.

There's a plastic in the back with graphics on it that obstructs the rollover lanes. Fairly easy to remove, and there's a clear plastic under it.

ColorDMD is great on this title (but aren't they all?). But the final wizard mode Battle for Earth is not colorized.

Mine spins just fine despite the extra weight. Certainly not enough of a difference to switch back to the ugly one IMO.

Spidey - do you still have the clear Tesseract cube? If so, willing to sell it?

Hmmm, I'll think about it. Also I just weighed it at 4.5oz. I thought Gio mentioned the original was 2.5oz but I'd have to take it out to see.

despite hate this game get for years, i still think its a good/fun pinball WHEN (and only WHEN) all tweaks are done and it plays smoothly...

It really is an underrated game. I love it something a bit different. Great full house LE.

I was thinking of putting in the carbon fiber look vinyl on my blue LE instead of mirror blades. Seems to match the machine's style well.

I was an early adopter NIB Avengers LE on the release . This thread has been quite . Lot of new owners . Good to see that the pinheads in this Club do not follow the pinside "HERD" and took a chance on one of In my opinion of the Best STERN pinball machines ever.

Beautiful Hulk! I’m enjoying mine.

I’ve just finished modding mine back up. Some really nice mods around. I had mirror blades last time but went for the artblades and speaker package from Tilt this time really happy with the results.

Are there less Blue Avengers LEs out there than Green Hulk LEs?

I have a question about the shaker. My lucky friend just bought an Hulk #011 and the shaker seems like very weak on gameplay. I checked in the service menu for running it manually, and everything is good. Strong and you feel it good.

The setting is on high and no parts are issue on it. Is it the code of the machine set up like this ? I have an Xmen and IM, both are strong with the their shaker. When he starts Hulk Multiball, the shaker is slow to start and seems low...

Before you go down this road you need to remember you will more than likely spend a lot of time dialling in this game. Hulk arms will need to be adjusted correctly (up and down resting height), the plate in front of Hulk must be adjusted to be as sensitive as possible. Hulks arms will more than likely over extend and this will cause issues breaking the rear plastic all the time and hitting the lifting ramp. There will be plunger issues, both hand and auto. Black widow shot will take some stuffing around with the ramp height. We were up for the challenge and got ours working as it should.

Before you turn the game on, it must have a REV B Aux board (REV A has an earth issue) fitted and a filter to the CPU board to protect the ICs from shaker feedback. Like everything else, this we learnt the hard way.

Once you get past all that, game is awesome. We had a Hulk LE for a few years and loved it. The only reason we sold it was to make room for another machine.

What's the CPU board filter?

It is an inline filter (electrical) that comes with the shaker motor. You remove the bottom left plug from the CPU board, plug the filter in to the board, then plug the lead in to the filter. The filter helps with feedback from the shaker motor.

Some things are different so mods make changes.

I really like the upgraded tesseract.

Must have:
- Tesseract Mod
- Some do the clear plastics above the "O" and "K" on the inlanes. I just tied those inserts into post lights and put them under the post of the slings.
- DIAL in your BlackWidow ramp. I'll say it again, DIAL IN YOUR BLACK WIDOW RAMP. Single best "mod" on the game. That shot is awesome to repeat but most don't allow it. Depending on the game you may need to raise the spinner or the plastic above the first part of the ramp.

Hulk LE

Black widow is pretty dialed in on mine; I can get a rhythm going and hit it 3-5 times in a row...It's not nearly as hard to hit as I thought it would, especially coming off owning a Star Wars Prem and TWD Prem...I think the hyperspace ramp and right ramp on TWD are much harder shots to hit.
