Can you post a high-res picture of the battery holder and area around it?

Take the f21 fuse out of the holder and check it for continuity outside the holder.

How about at the connector on the board? Is there 50v at the board connector the coils plug into?

Quoted from Jmckune:

So I know you said it looks fine but I’d look really hard at the interconnect switch on the coin door. If that’s not working properly the game should cut all high voltage power like your describing. On some games it even gives you a warning that high power is disabled when you open the door. Do you get a message when opening door or does it say nothing?

If the 50v led is lit on the board, then the interconnect works, right? He said it was on...

Quoted from Daximus:

Sorry this is the best I have at the moment showing the battery compartment. Will take s better one as soon as I can.
Yes I get the power warning message when opening the coin door.
If I recall there are two high voltage connectors towards the bottom of the board. Pulled and reseated them but that’s the extent of it.
Will pull the fuse and check continuity on Sunday (shooting a wedding tomorrow so I’m out).

With the coin door closed, check for 50v on the actual pins of the connectors to make sure it's not somewhere in the wiring after that.

DING DING DING...we have a winner! Fuse 21 looked good but failed the continuity test! Swapped it with another 3A fuse and ta-da...working coils! Feel dumb that it was something so stupid! Thank you so very much!!!

Yeah, it's a really common issue, which is why I try to remember to ask people to take the fuses involved out and test them outside the holder.

Glad it's fixed and you're back in business!
