Just picked up a Goldeneye yesterday as a project (got it for $1000). In pretty good shape overall with a lot of things functional. One of the main things that it has an issue with is that it appears all the high power coils aren't firing. I'm fairly new to all this and have only worked on my Stargate in the past, but excited to dig into this! I just got it yesterday afternoon so just starting to troubleshoot and hoping that you guys can point me in the right direction. When I initially ran the diagnostics coils 1, 2, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 weren't firing. All of which appear to be on the high power circuit (50v). No fuses are blown and everything else appears to function normally. No corrosion on initial inspection. Made sure the coin door was closed and nothing looked out of the ordinary on that switch. In a quick multimeter test I wasn't getting any voltage at the coils but the 50v board led is lit. I did find some random wires in the bottom of the cabinet that correspond to the high power circuit but no idea what they go to. The brown/blue wire had electrical tape loosely at the end and the yellow/violet was just laying there. There were a couple other terminated connections that are loose as well. Anyway, any and all assistance is greatly appreciated!

Quoted from Lithium:

I can speak to the question you have about the yellow/violet wire. It was removed as part of Service Bulletin 84 to prevent overloading of the 50v fuses.

Thanks! That helps...I’ll verify the mag board is updated. Though the yellow/violet wire I found was running along the bottom of the cabinet right next to the sub...

Sorry this is the best I have at the moment showing the battery compartment. Will take s better one as soon as I can.
Yes I get the power warning message when opening the coin door.
If I recall there are two high voltage connectors towards the bottom of the board. Pulled and reseated them but that’s the extent of it.
Will pull the fuse and check continuity on Sunday (shooting a wedding tomorrow so I’m out).

DING DING DING...we have a winner! Fuse 21 looked good but failed the continuity test! Swapped it with another 3A fuse and ta-da...working coils! Feel dumb that it was something so stupid! Thank you so very much!!!
