Good video modes are cheap, quick and relatively easy to do on a DMD when they're treated like mini-versions of existing game types in the Game & Watch or Wario Ware mould (Getaway's mini-race and Fish Tales' Subroc/Sea Wolf game being standout examples for me). With a big-ass LCD and a licensed blockbuster theme, that's not an option anymore. You could probably whip something up successfully if you were already committed to creating your own media with an original theme, but an Aliens video mode using the available footage would have to have so much effort and expense into creating what amounts to a twenty-second quick-time event that it's just not worth it.

It's also no secret that the Data East crowd used to recycle video mode code as much as possible, and make the lamest new ones just to have the excuse not to do any more.

Whysnow, a tip for that right orbit once the stream finishes, check how tightly the guide wall is secured to the wood. If it's loose, that could be creating the rattle.

It looks to me like the switch on the bottom bumper needs some adjustment.
