Ok, my spreadsheet says 63 people (pulled just from this thread) after re-reading this thread....I am thoroughly confused on who the hell got #69 (69 mystery has been solved) I apologize this didn't come out a little cleaner. Please let me know if I missed anyone.

I'm really interested in the chrome trim option, if that becomes available, because those pics of that chromed out Full Throttle LE were bassass. Fingers crossed.

I thought numbers in the 400's would be a little more popular.....as in LV-426, etc. That's the vibe I was going for with my number.

I asked for 426, but I know it's a long shot. But boy, that would be sweet if it wasn't spoken for yet. I remember getting my TWD LE and noticing the born on date for the pin was October 31st. I just thought for that being a horror pin I couldn't ask for a better date.

Same here. Bought the upgrade kit for Alien and paid in full ca 2 years ago.(probably one of the first who did this because I got a reduced price paying for Full Throttle and Alien in full from day 1)

Fiber optic ramps and shaker also coming with the Alien playfield.(So it is almost an LE )

No LE art revealed until now. Guess we're gonna see that if the pins get presented, hopefully later this year.

This morning I changed my order from an Alien LE to a Full Throttle LE with the black cabinet AND the Alien LE conversion kit. Melissa said I should get my FT LE game number sometime next week and that delivery will be in 2-3 weeks. Really looking forward to receiving my FT LE!

Typo? Or are there really going to be Alien LE conversion KITS?

Yes, I can buy the kit to convert my FT LE into an Alien LE for about 60% of the cost of the full machine. It will even include the beacon lights on top according to my conversation with Melissa this morning.

Like everyone has said, the only way this one sucks is if it plays like a total brick fest clunker.

From what I understand, the games will be backwards compatible too. If you buy the full Alien LE game, you can buy the Full Throttle LE conversion kit if you want.

So the kit has the numbered plaque that you can swap as well then?

I'm not sure how that would work. However they do it, they will need to manage it so there are not duplicate numbers.

I would think the only way to get the Limited Edition Alien pin with the 35th Aniversary art package is to buy the Alien LE pin, cabinet and all.

You can dress the FT SE/LE cabinet up to have the Alien LE game play experience by buying the extra pieces but the numbered plaque and exclusive 35th art package will only come with the whole complete Alien LE unit.

Same deal if you start with the Alien LE - you can buy the FT lighted ramp kit for the FT playfield but remain limited to just the FT SE art package.

Curiously, I have yet to really see pics of the FT SE and LE art package side by side.

Naturally, the cabinet and trim will always be the same original color you bought it as - no matter what kit you have in there, but all else will be the full LE experience. I specifically asked Melissa about the yellow beacons on top of the cabinet and she said they are included in the Alien LE conversion kit.
EDIT: So I will not have the Alien LE green legs or armor as my Full Throttle will be black with red hardware and that will never change.

Added over 8 years ago: According to Andrew, the Alien expansion kit will not be a true LE, but we can add the beacons and fibre optic ramps, etc. That sounds fair to me.

You can buy the beacons and lighted ramps for the Alien playfield, they are supposed to be offered as options.

LE vs SE game play is supposed to be identical playfieldwise, save for some rumored asthetic differences that may show up on the LE playfield, we'll find out about that rumoured tidbit soon enough!

From the info available and my Alien kit order you van only upgrade a kit to the level of the LE options (fiberoptic ramps and beacons for Alien). LE art is not included in the kits as it is exclusive to the full LE version.

The glass magazines have been very expensive to make, so far. The polished chrome option was VERY expensive.

We have re-designed the magazine to make it cheaper and easier to build. This also means that the polished chrome option should be much more affordable as well.

The prototypes for this are now built and will shortly be going to the metal finishers.

All going well, we hope to offer the polished chrome trim option in the very near future, and at a reasonable price

To clarify about upgrade options.

Alien LE games will be exclusively LEs, with game numbers, extra artwork package and metal trim being some of the options exclusive to the LEs.

Some options will be available for the Alien game kits, and SEs, such as the beacon topper, fibre optics, etc... but these are upgrades and do not make an SE into a true LE.

Andrew any word on there being playfield/plastics art differences? Also will the game be offered with PDI glass.

Last one, to help me plan financially, a couple of months notice on when my LE will be avaialble will help massively. I'm not sure if this is asking too much but I hope something can be worked out.

I have a supplier for the glass lined up. I will chase this up and report back with pricing.

You should be getting 2 weeks notice for the 50% payment instalment. For the final payment you should then have 8-12 weeks notice - payable prior to shipping of your game.
