This seems like a better match than mm vs AFM vs alien.
Both have some fresh enthusiastic dev teams, great themes and cry out "play me!"

It's just a great time for Pinball with all these impressive games rolling out.
I voted Alien, but Houdini looks like a winner too. The widebody packed with shots has the edge for me.

Floaty games seem really common at shows. I guess things get missed in the rush to get everything setup. hopefully in the future the demo pins get more tune-up time.

nearly even at just over 100 votes. I don't see either game running away with it. Very cool to see guys involved in the dev of both games weigh in!

Unless new shit comes to light before pay in full time, I'm in on Alien. I really like the enthusiast vibe I get from dev teams on both projects here and like the idea of supporting a new pin company.

Where do you stand on Alien vs Houdini?

Another factor for me is more than two flippers, I think the unique 4 flipper placement mixes it up more than a two flipper pin. The tight shots in Houdini look sweet tho. I can't agree with those that say it's a blowout one way or the other, they both look like players.
