No offense taken; I legitimately want to know how the game is being perceived.
You should never get Find Jonesy and Queen's Nest (or Loader Battle, not sure which one you're referring to, they both involve battling the Queen) back to back, they're in different movies. 
Shooting any ramp advances the selected mode (until you start it), so it's player's option what mode to play next. There's definitely strategy about when to start or avoid certain modes.
We'll have more end-of-game sequences, yes. As for "You Failed" sequences ... every mode has distinct "You Failed" and "You Won" sequences that are appropriate for each mode's scene, so there are at least 8 of each.
There are certainly aspects of the game that still need polish, primarily around A/V choreography -- current rev is labeled "0.95" intentionally -- but every planned game rule is already in place.
