Quoted from Hazoff:Well I tell ya 2 weeks with no refund and I change from "happy everything seems to be moving forward" to planes tickets headed to Britain with a god damn flame thrower, I'll keep you all posted.
I can see it now!
Quoted from Davidus56:I ordered 2 more Alien LEs today. The new management is turning this boat around.
Hopefully they can use that money to repay some of those that are still waiting on refunds.
The money people keep dumping into this project could probably buy a lifetime's worth of happy endings.
Quoted from Dee-Bow:New owners re-invested more money. You boys are running out of silly things to make up!
Apparently they haven't invested that money to pay back all those still patently waiting for refunds while they continue to take new orders.
The details I do know is when you send in money for something, you can darn well bet the transfer of funds is almost instantaneous. Why should it be like pulling teeth when it goes the other way? I wouldn't deal with anybody that drags their feet on something like this.
I must be one of the weirdos that was never impressed with the machine or the theme to begin with.
And had no intention of sending any money to some fly by night company that in the end would have probably left me hanging or ripped me off.
Quoted from MK6PIN:you are a BM66 alumni like me
I was sure when I sold it months ago, an epic code drop would probably happen in the next few days. I guess I was wrong about that. Or right for getting rid of it when I did.
Quoted from Hazoff:buy a flamethrower and a ticket for England
If you do, I'd recommend leaving the pervitin at home or things might get ugly.
Quoted from jonesjb:Yes, the funds might leave your bank account immediately, but that doesn't mean that the recipient receives it immediately. Funds can often go through payment processors and intermediary banks before the payment is actually settled to the end account.
Quoted from drinkduffbeers:Took 3 months
Quoted from Oneangrymo:Does Heighway have some sort of warranty?
I believe it is in the fine print under the refund policy.
Quoted from Oneangrymo:Well I tried again. Im done. No more phone calls from me. Maybe its a blessing in disguise. Good luck to those that get one. Guess I will wait for something better.
Lates!
If they won't take your money when you want to buy, imagine what it's like trying to get a refund.
I think he needs to find another startup company that is foaming at the mouth ready to take pre-orders on another pinside dream theme machine. Shouldn't have any trouble transferring funds on that.
Quoted from PinballRulez:'Just want you to know we have received your request and will handle it accordingly'.
Quoted from Mr68:Have you guys identified yourselves as Pinsiders to Heighway when asking for a refund?
Would that be a reason they wouldn't issue a refund? I sort of get it though.
Thanks Mr68 for the explanation. I guess I had assumed pinside and it's members had developed some bad juju with pinball developers over the last few years
