Quoted from Astropin:

Okay, apparently the whole word forgot how to read...
I NEVER TOLD OR IMPLIED FOR ANYONE TO WAIT

you are starting to sound like that Whysnow guy

Quoted from Whysnow:

If I had any deposit money on the line, my selfish thought would be to shut up and wait.
My logic is that the paperwork is not even signed yet on this deal. The best chance of getting anything (game or money) is for the new investors/ re-investors to not be scared off but to instead get that deal done.
AFTER the deal is done then you have a new team on the hook to make it all right.
If the deal crumbles, where are you left?
If the deal gets done then you are in a better position than currently.
Just my undertanding of the situation.

You should UNselfishly stop advising, suggesting, hinting telling, PM'ing people how to spend their money. C'mon man!

I've told you ten million times to not exaggerate on the alien forum! and I'm optimistic about this pin shipping too!

Quoted from neverahighscore:

Looks like they are starting to make an effort in getting the refunds back to the people who want them.

I know you're disappointed in Andrew but could it be possible the new peeps having been working hard behind the scenes the WHOLE TIME since they've took over..and business matters like this take time?! there might be a light at the end of this tunnel! (just trying to be optimistic!)

#246 6 years ago

sunking, I'm curious how this pertains to people who invested money and never received their pinball machines?!?! and what are we supposed to look at? the burnt out playfield screen or the ball-stall..or are you just rubbing salt in their wounds that u have a pin and they don't!? (that's just a light-hearted poke!)

#254 6 years ago

no luck needed...its happening...now I need to borrow ten g's please!?! anyone? anyone?

I agree it's taking long but you are only ASSUMING they received more refund requests than anticipated. (unless you have actual numbers?) I also don't think the longer they wait- the better chance people will jump back on board. that's ridiculous and would never work. and a company that doesn't have an accounting department?! seriously! c'mon.

#309 6 years ago

hey manimal..I'm just trying to remain optimistic on this pin and hope it gets mass produced! all signs starting to indicate the new company is up to the challenge and know what their doing..people getting money refunded ..people getting pins.. positive vibes only!! would love to see a pinsider post pics of a recent unboxing soon!! cheers

#318 6 years ago

how many refunds you think were requested?!

The two-week carrot dangle act CONtinues. Maybe this time is real.

so which one is it? Can't be real and a carrot dangle act?

New owners re-invested more money. New owners selling new pins ONLY thru reputable distributors. Can they even take deposits through their website anymore? I thought you can't order direct any more?? I doubt they are that desperate and so broke they need deposits sent in for your bank roll conspiracy theories. You boys are running out of silly things to make up!

I wonder if Andrew pocketed a bunch of the deposits and they aren't legally allowed to publicly say it as they're probably taking legal actions to retrieve it. Maybe they found out after they accessed the bank accounts. Seems crazy they don't say SOMETHING about this already. just leaves us to speculate on pinside!

I know it's way past ridiculous..but have you phoned their office and tried speaking with someone? Its a shame you have been treated like this. Damn i want this game..but the lack of customer support is keeping me away. I just cant justify giving these guy's money.

They (new owner's) also could of waited until Andrew was legally forced to close the doors and declare the company bankrupt.. They instead chose to assume ALL responsibilities inherited by Andrew's terrible business decisions and try to make it right for everybody with money in the game. Most people bitchin' on here don't even have ANYTHING invested and are simply just trolling like caped crusaders! What pinball company doesn't have game play or customer service issues? Name one please!

Quoted from spfxted:

I'd be VERY surprised if that was correct!

Why?

#768 5 years ago

Yeah, But even at 200 that's pretty damn low for what could have been. still a damn shame.

Quoted from rai:

62 people have Alien listed in their collection whereas 114 have TNA listed (around 140 produced).
Alien wish list 191
TNA wish list 261
Of course there is an unknown, what if a TNA person lists it in collection before it is built?
Also maybe more Alien were sold in Europe which may be under represented in Pinside numbers.

How many alien pins not listed on pinside?
