For the LE I was under the impression you get both sets of art . Standard and LE regardless of screen chosen.

Cointaker may have a different configuration but that is their deal not Heighways

Ok so i may not post pics publicly. What Andrew showed were examples of artwork that was either scrapped or art that hasnt been decided yet.
The art is solid and the audience consensus was that they liked the aliens xeno for the LE.
I like what i see but since there is no official approved art ill leave it to that

I think the point is that there should be one thread about Heighway and one about Aliens. While this thread has become a cauldron of shit i still think there should be 2 threads.
Maybe the best course of action would to be to open an Alien machine thread to complement the WTF is going on with Heighway thread and closing this mess.

The LE is not the cause of the delays. From what I gather its parts delays and restructuring.
The LE is a deal if you are going to order all the extras anyways. We will see how they handle the fiber optic deal.

How bout we lay off the LE bitchfest until they actually announce what is going to be included. As far as we know it will be mounted in an exact replica of the Nostromo. Seeing as the new investors group redid the computer, ramps, xeno mech, I suspect there will be some changes for the LE also. If the LE ships with the standard monitor bezel I will be highly disappointed. As an "in since day 1" guy in holding the line and think we will all be suprised.
Anyone going to Expo? It would be an opportune time to show off an LE but I'm not holding my breath.

I would try one cable at a time. if you plug one cable into port 1 into one monitor and you get both images then its a mb problem i would think.

The fact remains, games are being produced and shipped. QC is not good but the community has overcome bugs out of the box.
Communication has been sparse pubically and non existant privately.
Games are still being produced and shipped.
I am interested to see where we stand at the end of Q1 which is the goal for all refunds and preorders.
Without the investors deciding to prime the pumps we would all be fucked. No refunds no games. I'm better in our current situation then being screwed out of my money and my game
Hopefully I'll be happy and playing Aliens by then

No machines. I talked to David Theil and he said that now that he has shaker motor and lights that they are fine tuning those assets
The games are shipping and the newer ones work pretty well out of the box whether the nay sayers like it or not.
1. Some refunds have happened
2. Early adopters are being made right
3. Games are shipping including actual containers that went to cointaker.
It's still moving In the right direction all be it slowly and communication is still shitty. If people cant see that it's either because they have an axe to grind or are purposely blind

Well even tho Ive been waiting for 4 years im glad that Melissa is going to force their hand. It doesn't sound like CT is out for good and if Heighway can get the parts for the existing machines sent over and resolved then there is a chance.
This move may be exactly whats needed to get Heighway to listen up and support existing customers. With $360,000 (45 X
on the table it would certainly get my attention.

We actually recevied a call from Roger Svanevik today. Basically to tell us that we where fucked and that our money was lost.
But,... it turns out that the CT container was for real. When the CT-deal fell through, these machines were sold elsewhere.
It also turns out that Umbrella Corporation has Alien LEs for sale. Free-Play.se also has Alien LEs for sale (Both these distributors are owned by people who are owners / have representation in the board of directors at both Heighway Pinball and Pinball Brothers.)
Roger Svanevik then offered to sell us an Alien Pinball. This time an LE.
This is the same guy who assured us that Heighway would ship our game by the end of 2017.
Charming.
GTFO!! What a scam. I lost my deposit from Oct 2014 but no way in hell they are getting a dime from me. Especially as shady as this is sounding.
Meh its all good. It's all perspective. If we knew then what we know now it would all be different.
Shit happens and only history can decide who was right and who was wrong.
