Quoted from TomDK:

Our frenchy noitbe1 will make you a set for 10 bucks former ashtray from a Citroen car
Maybe Averell has a chance to make a set more or use the prototype ... if there is a unused prototype I would take it and pass my set to Ferret.

I think you made your point as en expert with PETG not being a plastic (just check on what floating on the ocean right now)... Sure that when you buy a BMW, you know what you buy.

There is no new element there so nothing’s new....
Good Comment:
« Not gonna happen for an exact remake, they lost all rights and everything in the liquidation and must completely redo the entire game. And good luck getting anythink ok'd since disney bought out fox. All alien games that were in the making all got cancelled and shelved as the rights are so messed up »

Quoted from Starscream:

New owner here!
Picked up a late build LE w black trim, Fun game!
Like most owners I intend to keep this game around for the foreseeable future, but being a little late to the party I'm on the backfoot for spare parts to keep the game alive.
I noticed a few LED's out on the game, (or at least misbehaving) that need to be changed, a couple of the inductive switches are a bit touchy too and only register 50% of the time,
The stand up bash target switches could do with an overhaul too,
I have a couple of the LED's for the GI spare, but I need to source some extra of the longer switch boards with LED's for behind the sling's
(they look like this but without the black button for the target)
https://www.free-play.se/en/electronics/circuit-boards/alien-full-throttle-target-switch-board-w-led.html
Does anyone have spares they could sell me or point to a vendor (preferably in the states) that might have some?
On the subject I could use a few of those switch boards WITH with the target switch for the standups as the one in front of the xeno is flaky
Also would like to source a few other spares if anyone has anything surplus, a few plastics could do with replacing too

Congrats, can you share some pics? Alien is one of the best ever.
Where did you find your LE?
Welcome to the Alien’s club.

Quoted from TomDK:

Was´nt the price for the original run from Vimtoman/Faus around 500 Euro/ Dollar ?
I am glad to have already one. War in Ukraine and Covis kills all prices in pinball
I think the "original" from the USA was around 900 and Faust/Vimtoman was the cheaper alternate.
Long time ago.

Seriously... where are those price come from...? i just bought an almost brand new NOS CV apron perfect for 50 euros and the original beacon’s price were at around 20 dollars a pair on ebay.
Maybe the seller alreay paid high price for this but ... i mean ... price is becoming crazy anyway.

Pinball Brothers was involved when Highway was still in business as we could see with their name everywhere on boards.

They took over the business and.... pretty much 95% of the design and engineering dev which was the main cost of this pin.
I understand why they consider that the old Alien is not theirs but at the end, they don't stand behind their old association and work.

It should cost them not much to share even small code updates and they could compensate with selling extra mods or parts.
