Quoted from jonesjb:Interesting developments at Deeproot Pinball related to Heighway, I wonder what this means?
I saw this and felt immediate suspicion - not normal business behavior. Hope I'm wrong

Quoted from Kneissl:I'm not even sure I get the deeproot business plan at all, it seems like a joke.
The TWIP article talks about other business areas that DR is involved with. Maybe those are healthy profit centers? Most pinball companies are normally living hand-to-mouth (exception: Stern IMHO) and not given to philanthropy.
Quoted from SunKing:What I recommend is to isolate the bad LED using the single lamp test.
I think it was already pointed out that if a LED does not light the previous LED could be the problem.
Reason: The way these work is that they listen to the stream coming in, take their data (first in the stream), remove this data from the stream and pass the rest on. If they don't pass anything on the rest of the LEDS don't change.
Quoted from Ballypinball:You can but the fumes damages the boards
This is the rule for anything with Chlorine in it (e.g. PVC). Instant acid produced with following rust and toxic effects.
My quick check on PETG seems to show it is OK:
Can Safely Cut PETG (resized).PNGQuoted from TomDK:I am still working on the whole plasticset in unbreakable VIVAK and not Plexi like original.
Didn't know about Vivak, thanks for mentioning this stuff.
Probably won't use it right away, but it is nice to know that there are alternatives to Plexiglas.
Hopefully you will share how this was done so that us native citizens (non-aliens ha ha) can apply this to other platforms.
Good work!
Does anyone know if there is an "Alien" machine at the Museum of Pinball in Banning, CA?
Thinking of going to the Pinball Madness event there in mid October.
Quoted from Aurich:Yes, Kelly, the game's animator, sold his machine to the museum, so it should be on the floor in October I'd think. I haven't been out to see it yet.
The Free Play long weekend starts Oct 19th so maybe it will be there by then. Really want to play this
Thank you
I asked about Aliens at the Banning, CA Oct 19th Expo, I got back:
> We will have an Aliens LE for the October show. We will also have a Deadpool LE and an Alice Cooper
So I'm going!
