do you still get the backglass artwork if you get the monitor?
I like everyone else with a deposit down would like to see these games make it through the production line and make their way to their respective homes. all this negative talk isn't going to help that happen. It's just going to take Andrew's attention away from where it needs to be remained focus. would be nice to have some type of updates, even minor ones. I'm honestly not expecting my game till next year some time. If it makes it to me before that, great. if not, well then I'll just keep living life.
think I have 1500 down, I would still be very sad not to receive it if something happened to the company. I'd be even sadder seeing another company fail to come through especially with such an awesome game. You couldn't pay me enough to be in his shoes. Can't imagine the pressure the company is under to produce these games.
Quoted from SunKing:
the game is still a ton of fun to play
that's crazy didn't know any made it out to houston, wonder how many games actually made delivery so far.
don't expect mine anytime soon which is fine, my money is safe in a checking account. I'd be willing to risk the 1500 for the game, since it's cool. Think the thing I like the most about the games the company produces is the modular design of the cabinets.
Which means I'll probably wind up with a full throttle before long.
yeah, that sucks about the lighting. It was one of the reasons I opted for the LE. art is cool, but when choosing one art package to the next I could care less. especially since my game is going to have the LCD in the back anyway. So now I get slightly different side art and a plaque. does it still have the inside artwork, been a while I can't remember what the differences were anymore.
Guess I should be happy they aren't increasing prices for pre-order people. still negates the fact that one of the key differences is now being taken away from the original agreement. If it has to do with cutting labor costs, I'd be fine if they sent the el kit separate and included a slight discount for the time it takes to install, say 150-200. It's not like it's an iron man like playfield, so it might take a bit more time to disassemble everything.
I don't bother looking at LE's anymore unless there are distinct or after-market differences that I would probably wind up doing later anyway. spending another 1k for a plaque, artwork and possible signature doesn't make sense to me anymore.
does that mean my order will be passed on to cointaker, If I originally ordered from Heighway. I need to stop looking at this thread, very confusing as to what the status is. Think I'm going to do my best to forget it and if they email me this year, it'll be a nice surprise. I'm not holding my breath though.
yup, nothing new yet... once a week, I optimistically open this thread, and leave a little more depressed every time.
yup, well I haven't been in as long as a lot of other people. only since January this year, but I'm jumping ship. still no news as to what they are doing as far as the optics and the other thing they took out, unless I missed it somewhere in the thread. I also didn't want to have to deal with the issues you guys are dealing with, since it was going to a public location. Wish everyone here the best and hope you get what you paid for. Hope I get my 2k back, but if not lesson learned.
Quoted from Makakka:
Besides, you are one of the golden boys of Morgan, he gifted you with a christmas dream. I received nothing personal from them since the ashes of Andrew. It hurts but it is ok until they hurt my trust which I feel wont ever happen. I feel they will deliver and I felt it all the time because this pin is dark magic that will succeed (it contains the bones Andrew ripped out of Nordman). I will comment (and donate) here when I have it or comment before when that stoner from California makes subpar comment again (I cant take it any longer) and you will have it also (after me I believe) if you keep your inner shakra intact. Until then.
man I'm glad I stopped checking this thread. I just did a search on refunds to see if anyone gotten theirs.... wishful thinking I guess.
Think I'm about to give up on this whole idea of a "refund". I've only been waiting five months for the refund part, which isn't long compared to some. Crazy to think that this is the only industry or entity I can think of (besides the government) that could get away with doing that.
Still, I'm happy to know heighway is still twitching and not dead yet. If they fixed all this stuff and shipped games to everyone currently on the list and asked me if I had any second thoughts, I'd have a difficult time saying no (maybe that's their master plan). My faith is gone that, that's even a prospect though.
