Quoted from DCfoodfreak:

Play Full Throttle...

IJ (another widebody) also has flow, but doesn't come close to FT on shots or speed.

Quoted from dmbjunky:

A couple of new faces are showing up. Did Heighway have another party where they showed off Alien?

No. Artwork isn't approved and Heighway isn't Dutch.

Quoted from kaneda:

Can someone ask Aurich this question. If he had the whole playfield to do, would he also create the art himself or hire a freelance artist to work with him. It's a fair question. He's a designer, not an artist per se.

Too many cooks in the kitchen spoil (and delay) the broth.

Someone already leaked your early sketches Aurich! Is this Standard or LE?

Game play looks like it has depth based off the modes. I already liked the translite and cabinet art, but RGB lighting and playfield video should make this game standout.
I would have super high blood pressure and anxiety with this type of reveal, so congrats to Heighway for hanging in there. Break a leg! You guys deserve success. Let 2016 be the year for the boutiques/up-and-comers.

Come on Heighway. You have folks with thousands of dollars commited to this game. Not all of us can attend trade shows. Throw us a bone. We deserve it. We are financing this project. Show us what you have. Stop being coy.

Good thing you didn't buy TBL from Dutch Pinball. I believe Heighway has been transparent and engaging in many ways from the get-go.

Quoted from Aurich:

Alien has been all done with a Logitech mouse and a Wacom Cintiq, if anyone cares.

I need to get you a headset.

Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

Give Andrew an " atta boy" gold star, for his tireless work yesterday.
I consider him, then the game the reveal of the show!

I've always been impressed with Heighway's energy. It can't be easy flying from UK to Chicago, setting up, and then talking/standing for hours over several long days while battling jet lag. I love that kind of passion and dedication.

A LOT of incognito trolling in this thread. Perhaps it's just one person, but they're super bitter and have a serious hard-on for Heighway to fail.

Great update video! Ignore the naysayers. Game looks awesome.

Damn. I may have to ditch TBL for this bad boy.

Looking good!
Man I love David Thiel's work, great as usual. The sound fx on this pin really help immerse you in the theme.

Why did you downvote????!

Quoted from Hazoff:

Its done for Kevin the dickhead but Andrew could very well obtain the license, I hope he does.

Unfortunately, Fox may try to push the new reboot currently in production. Here's the cast:

Quoted from TheLaw:

Only because of the "immersive" line.

Is the term "immersive" played out?

#11495 7 years ago
Quoted from Jarbyjibbo:

Tell me that's not really a thing!

Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Last Action Hero, Nice Guys) is directing.

Quoted from TheLaw:

To me it is yes; but to each their own.

I've told my boss the same thing a few times, so I get it.

Quoted from TheLaw:

Don't forget kiss kiss bang bang!

Definitely. An underrated movie to boot!

I was simply saying a different message might be a bit less personal in an arcade setting

Quoted from CubeSnake:

FWIW, I find Andrew much much more communicative than anyone at Stern has been. This alone will make him a success. Add in the fact that his pins are actually interesting and innovative. They don't have the ''cheap, homeowner-grade" look that Stern pins have. We don't know this yet, but if he doesn't play games with his pricing like Stern does, then he will certainly be a good competitor to them (I don't like to use the term "threat" in this context). Heighway seems VERY open regarding their production facilities and methods. Can't say the same for the other guys, who, for some reason keep information at 1950's-era cold war levels.

Well said. Heighway isn't arrogant!

Quoted from Whysnow:

Seriously, what kind of whack job takes photos of someone from behind and then photoshops them sticking something in my bum and posts it on the internet...

An antique cannon is pretty tame. At least it wasn't a gerbil, fist, baseball bat, or pinball leg.
