Quoted from Mfsrc791:One game is shipping completed with full support and the other has people begging for their money back. (So as of right now) it's no contest.
Pinball folk is strange: on the one hand they want their money back when it looks like going wrong (HP), on the other hand they want to pay extra just to get something that did go wrong (DP).
Fact is: nobody should pre-order. Let the manufacturer make the machine and when they have them, then order and pay. That would save us all a lot of discussion and a lot of people money. Just as the most given advice around here is: play the game before you buy. I see many Pinsiders agree to this, but what happens when someone makes an announcement for a new pin, they all shout: TAKE MY MONEY
Cannot make up this stuff
The new owners of HP deserve some slack as they seem to do as they have said. It takes some time but we all know that these machines not get produced overnight. I have been in contact with HP and the communication is very good. If they get the machines delivered in sufficient quantities they will be allright and many of the people that are now "begging for their money" may buy again.
edit: I am in on both so I cannot give any advice on which is better. To me they are complimentary and cannot be compared in any way other than that is is a game with steel balls that you must try to shoot at stuff with two sticks
