I had designed a small number of Motion tracker mods for the original Heighway Alien pinball a while back.
Red_Devils asked me to make one up for him for his new PBB Alien so have decided to make a ltd batch for this new Pinball.

Ok we are nearing the first batch limit.

Red_Devils is kindly helping me out for a stable mounting solution.
Not having the pin myself doesn't help

I'm looking at mounting the MT on a clear using the pillar and shooter lane protector screws.
Any thoughts on the subject your all welcome to air your ideas and advice.

Have thought about lighting the shooter lane also using the clear.
But may shelve that due to time and added complexity.

Displays are going to be around 6 weeks plus to arrive.
I've opted for multiple deliveries so some may come in early.

Have made the decision to have these MT enclosures to be professionally printed and polished.
Next stage to spray,add decals and clear.

I need one other person to test out the mounting plate for it.
Will involve printing template up and checking on pinball.

The protective layer is still on so does not look clear.
Sure the guys will post pictures if the fit is good.

Have played with the boot up sequence and added a fingerprint login video.
Will ask buyers what name they want added to theirs.
This will be fixed in code so make sure you want that name set.

Could be Pinside handle. Character from film? . No obscene names allowed

When I receive the batch of displays in September and have them partially assembled I will contact all buyers and ask what they would like entered.

Can someone confirm the screw size for the shooter lane pillar please.
Think it may be metric.

Now question for all.

Do I stick with the Torx or go crosshead ?

Ok agree will stick with Torx.

Other question is color of mounting plastic.

Ive made a test version in acid green but the tester suggested a clear plastic.

Im only going to have one set made so suggestions on color please.

Clear ,clear acid green,clear blue ?

Wasn't needed as Apron different.

OK nearing the completion of the first batch.

Also realised that setting a personal name on the Motion tracker fingerprint could be a logistic problem.

Thats me keeping track of units etc. I could cock up and send the wrong one.

So suggest we stick to a character from the film.

Did you find the PDF attachment on all the emails I sent you?

Pull the plastic cover off the spade and check that the spade is making good contact to that connection.

To all ,Just in case PB have changed wiring on the Shooter switch heres the correct connections.

Easiest way to swap the wires is to swap the crimped wires at the connector end.
Crimps are held in with a lever that you can pull up with a pin or fine blade to release the crimp.
Then just swap over .

Not from what I've seen .
Apron looks the same.
Think the LV is pretty much the same pin but with a few extra features.

Which ever way I done it there would be someone who would think it should be done another way.

So Its the way it is.

It's taken a year to install? How come?

Very odd as it should have a blank screen after that before playing the video sequence.

I wouldnt advise on swapping wires.

I just wanted it to appear like a tracker.
Could of dumped loads of clips etc but would have taken away what the item was. A tracker.
