Ok got it!
Thx Damadczar

You just need a CR2032 with a 2 pin connector like this one:
There are lots on eBay - I'm sure you can find something local.

1 of the welds on my center ramp broke, I remember a couple people say this happened to them also. Just wondering if Spooky will replace, or did people have to fix themselves?

Added a mod that I haven’t seen for Alice Cooper. Always thought it needed a Tesla Coil and found the Mezel Mods Tesla Coil for Monster bash can easily be configured to work in the game. Easy install, just required modifying the 12V connector under the upper playfield. I’m sure there are many ways to mod it, pictures are listed with how the mod looks in the game.
I’m adding speaker lights to my Alice Cooper. Can I get a wiring picture of where they plug into boards please.
Anyone have advice on how to tie in additional lighting on this game without using pinstadium? Not sure of the voltage or what exactly to tie into. Not used to working on games where all the leds are directly attached to pcb’s

Get those spotlight kits that comet sells. Then place them wherever. Just don’t tie too many into the same LED. Share the love.
Been playing a ton of Alice lately. Out of the blue my 15yo declared ACNC to be his favorite, now every night before bed he asks me to go down and play a few games. He loves the modes he says. Tonight i noticed him giving a serious effort to nudge which made me smile.

All the GI are still standard sockets. 6 volts is fine even though I think sterns are 5 volts.
Only place I found was coin door lights. The gi is still controlled. Unless I missed something.

The wiring can be found in the manual you can download.

Love that-Such a neat game

Yeah. Forgot we were talking about Spooky. My bad.
Bowen Kerins prototype ACNC is up for grabs in Massachusetts, one of a kind! Kinda surprised this hasn’t sold yet.

If you want rgb controlled lights, there is a connection in the backbox that is used for the speaker grill lights. Mine had an expansion adapter so it was easy to add another set of lights (crypt mod).

The person that asked was looking to just add more light to the game. Not rgb or controlled.
I'm gathering funds for our next pin and this one has really caught our attention. Each time I reach out asking about it people seem keen to mention that this machine is "notorious for breaking down" or "a pain in the ass to upkeep". Is this true at all? I know pinball is pinball and every machine needs attention, just curious. I have owned a smattering of machines but currently only 2 Sterns, which admittedly seem pretty solid.

If you’re not putting it on location, should be fine.

No no, the only location would be my kitchen. Thanks for the input! I've watched so many videos of the game play, really want to play one in person.

Mine was plagued with gremlins for a while. As soon as I fixed something, another thing seemed to break. Now that it is all sorted, if feel confident that I can hunt down and fix about anything with this pin. It’s a blast to play, actually, my wife’s favorite. If you have any problems, contact Spooky…their customer service is incredible. Also ask for the videos on servicing it…they are vital if you replace a servo.

A few things I'm apprehensive about:
I've never owned a Spooky, therefore I'm unfamiliar with their product.
This pin is pretty limited, how long will they support it? How long will replacement parts be available?
I know I may sound a little silly but these are really my only concerns. I'm no mechanical genius but I have some semblance of common sense when it comes to repair and upkeep.
My eyes were originally drawn to Halloween simply because of how beautiful that game is...but that pin is probably the most divisive I've seen in quite awhile. I don't know if the hate is warranted or not.
I loved playing it but yes, it did require more fiddling with, swapping out some difficult to reach servos, and other miscellaneous items. Frank lock switches swapped out, guillotine never seemed to work quite right, magnets get a little squirrely without adjustment. Definitely more upkeep than any of my other machines. Spooky is a great help but you still have to be willing to do the work to make the fixes happen.
Beautiful machine, a blast to play but understand what you’re getting in to.

I wouldn’t hesitate. Spooky is an incredible team and will help you out as much as they can. Direct calls and emails…they are incredibly responsive. How long will they support the machine? Well, I’ve never run into the comment “sorry, we won’t do that”. With any of my Spooky’s…even my AMH.
The gripes about Halloween are over blown IMO. I have #12 and have only had to replace one servo. Yes, there are anomalies with specific pins, but again, Spooky’s customer service is second to none. They have even helped me after hours with personal calls to sort my problems. It’s a beautiful and unique pin…a blast to play!

Can't answer to the horror stories but with 3 Spooky pins I sincerely believe they are ideal for home use/collections. Started out with RAM, then picked up ACNC in 2021, which led to my 1st nib HW delivery in early January. For me, RAM required the most pf tweaking to address brick shots but ACNC has been minimal. I'm sure there are many contrary experiences out there as supportive ones. All 3 of these games play so utterly differently that feels refreshing. Half my current collection is a Spooky game, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

It wasn't so much the upkeep on Halloween, more so the outright HATE for the layout/game play

Ah. Play it if you get the chance. I know more who absolutely love the layout than hate it. But the haters are louder…

From an art standpoint boy did that game grab my attention. I'm a horror guy and I'll even admit that Halloween isn't in my top 5 dream themes. I'll even go so far as to say the series has been more miss than hit by a country mile. Still, I have to give Spooky props for making it look as good as humanly possible. The layout is totally unique, for better or worse. I know the animations are meh, honestly though, I'm here to play pinball. I really want to play this game, just need to make the 4 hour drive to do so.

Spooky listens…they listened to the people that didn’t think the animator/animations was good and hired a new company. Sounds like new animations are coming in the near future from the other company. Just an example of how interactive Spooky is with their customers…they really do care.

That's really comforting to hear! Thank you.
My Frankenstein lock switches never worked right from day one out of the box. I have to fiddle with the switches to get them to click again and sense ball locks. Are there improved switches available from Spooky or what's the permanent fix to resolve this? I never play this game as locked Frank shots often aren't detected and I have to end up pulling the glass during a game. Otherwise, everything works fine on my Alice, but those two switches are annoying as hell.

I have same problem going on with my second lock for Frankenstein. I pull glass and fiddle with the switch and it works for a game and then same BS.

Same issue here, both switches
Dude, do not listen to the Halloween haters. I have #690 and I love it too death. Game shoots buttery smooth with shots evvverywhere. Blowing up superjackpots on three seperate playfields simultaneously is an incredible experience. I also have ACNC which is also phenomenal. I have on location and it has not given me any real issues to complain about AND my patrons thank me for bringing it in more than any other game I have here. Spooky games are CRAZY UNDERRATED.

Okay, noted!
Tough question then: ACNC or Halloween? Which is better?

My right Frank lock was like this. Asked for a replacement and replaced it, been fine ever since.
Well…I liked my Halloween so much I rushed to find an ACNC for sale. I have a hard time putting one over the other BUT…the code on Halloween isn’t even finished yet so if you have to choose I think Halloween will come out on top in the long run.

Looking forward to how Halloween becomes polished, but ACNC for me as it stands.
Though IMO, Rob Zombie and America's Most Haunted are under-rated gems beyond either when it comes to Spooky games.

I really want a Rob Zombie. A few years ago there was one for sale near Chicago with a butter cab…I think 1 of 2…kick myself for not buying it. AMH is definitely underrated…it’s so much fun. For me Halloween over ACNC, for my wife, ACNC over Halloween.

And a 7 ball multi.
And Mellissa's titties, let's not forget the titties (even though they can't be shown on pinside as topless girls are considered 'nudity' and will be moderated, although topless guys like the Hoff or Sylly are just fine in enlightened 2022).
I was way more of a White Zombie fan than I am a Rob Zombie fan. It just wouldn't get appreciated as much in my lineup, sadly.

I completely hate all types of heavy metal, don't particularly like Alice Coopers music either. Theme is nowhere near as important to me as theme integration. And RZ and Alice both have it in spades.
