Sorry to hear this. It’s too late but now I think something like a Tile or Apple Airtag would have been invaluable. I’m thinking if ever in the future when selling something as valuable that a $20 tracker might be a good idea.

I didn’t catch but I assume the buyer arranged the shipping. I’ve only bought one pin long hand and the seller did everything with shipping and insurance etc.

How far was the shipping distance?

I’ve had a guy who drove 15 hours to pick up a pin, I thought he was crazy.

Supposedly if it does turn up (ie someone buys it) OP should be able to reclaim the pin(?).

I’m sorry but this has opened my eyes, I’ll never hire some dude with a truck (maybe not even owning a truck) to transport a pin. There is no one to sue here.

If it was a real shipping company you’d have the pin or a settlement (am I wrong?).

Mildly amusing that a color DMD costs $400, shipping a pin costs $5-600 and yet the junk store bought a whole pin for $300 claims they didn’t know it was stolen.
