Ran into a fellow pinhead at the Airport today. What an interesting perspective people have to the hobby but mostly my career. I bought this pinsider a few too many beers so I am sure he will not be responding to this thread anytime soon. Plus his wife ended up not being amused. Haha.
Really the purpose of this thread is to say how wonderful this hobby/job can be. You meet some cool people along the way and it makes some of the aggravation worth it.

The best part of my job is running into folks I haven’t seen in years. I work at an airport. Actually, I’m a pilot and work at many airports! I generally fly 1-2 week trips with another pilot, sometimes I don’t know who it is till we meet at the airport. We all have different interests and hobbies. Sometimes I’ll fly with another pinhead, drone geek, amateur photographer, hiking/exercise guru or electronics nerd (all my interests!). I try to steer conversions to a common hobby and avoid sensitive discussions about religion or politics.
