Gonna try to pretty up my F-14 playfield. I understand airbrushing is the way to go, but I've never done that before. Any recommendations on a kit for a beginner? I don't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money, but I don't want to buy junky tools either. I have a small, but loud pancake compressor, so am interested in something quiet. Anybody try any of the Master Airbrush Brand kits available on amazon?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

That will work fine. I wouldn't necessarily expect it it be much quieter than a small pancake though.

Use createx paint too.

I did order a set of opaque create paints from amazon. And some original frisket. Wasn't sure this little compressor could handle the create paints... some reviews suggested it didn't work well on thicker paints.

Which ones? Createx paint isn't thick at all, it's designed for airbrushes.

Okay, that's good to know. I was probably just reading too much in to the reviews.
