i replaced the 3 drop targets in the center playfield on my system 3 gladiators. now the ball hits a target and goes airborne. i read somewhere to stiffen them up, which i did. i think it's worse. any ideas?

I had the same problem when I replaced mine on SW. I put some of the foam pads on them that pinballife sells and it made it better. I still get an air ball once in a while but not as often. Here is a link to the pads.

Quoted from snyper2099:Raise the spotlight up so that the ball can't get stuck?
Lol. I actually did that the other day and that has kept it from getting stuck up there. I was hoping to find a way to keep the balls from taking flight to begin with. Some sort of drop target adjustment maybe?
Once I waxed the PF and rebuilt the flippers on my Maverick, I had the same thing (new drops as well). I live with the airballs, but have been considering some sort of "roof" above and beyond what's already there.
