Quoted from seshpilot:

1. Do I restore this playfield, or go with a new John Greatwich one?

I would go with a Greatwich playfield. The blue in the flipper area fades to a seafoam green, inserts will be cupped and loose. Unless you're doing the work yourself you're better off financially to buy one of John's.

Lookin great! HSA will want you to pull out and reglue all of the inserts, they are often loose. That's what I was told when I asked them about classic Stern playfields.

She's looking good Sesh. I like how you did the blue base inside the cab and left the rest of the wood au naturel. What do you have planned for LEDs?

Going to be amazing!

Quoted from Lovef2k:

Do you have a color match for the bluish green?

There isn't a bluish-green color on the playfield. There are two blues and a green. The green would not be hard to match, but the problem is it's dithered, which is why it gives that blue-green appearance.

Quoted from seshpilot:

5. The plunger isn't above the playfield for some reason. I've tried to adjust it but it keeps hitting the wood of the shooter lane. I replaced all those parts so not sure if the new parts aren't correct or what. Regardless, that will have to change.

Is your behive mounted upside-down? Looking at it from the side the plunger shaft should be parallel to the side rail. If not, that's probably the issue or maybe your cab is warped.

Just put a washer between the bushing and the flipper bat to raise it up a little.

You want to leave a little play in there so it doesn't bind, but gravity will cause the flipper to ride on the washer. Small gap is fine, too much and you'll throw off the alignment under the pf.
