Quoted from Jodester:
Just ordered some stuff from Cointaker to do my play field. I will post pics as soon as I get it completed...
You should AHEM do a bulb count too
Well I managed to fail with my first LED order. I ordered as boris_37 posted based on Astropins config, but I screwed up the order.
17 | 44 Mini White
1 | 44 purple super
16 | 44/47 COOL WHITE SUPER
1 | 44/47 GREEN SUPER
As you can see I ordered 44's. I am officially an idiot now. So what should I have ordered, 555s?
How do the retro leds look? All this warm, super, mini, frosted and everything is much more than I care to keep up with. I actually enjoy the normal bulb look all over in my games, but would like a little bit of a pop without making it visible from space.
After my stupidity wore off I figured out what I needed and ordered the right leds. I followed Astropin's setup and I think the results are amazing. Here are the before and after pics.
need to get to the FInal Frontier more than once -- demolish that high score in my opinion
the key is waiting out the tougher modes. every pin is different of course. my high on mine is 16 billion.
Given so much change with LED supplier in the last few years is the following recipe still the best choice?
Quoted from boris_37:
I would just like to update as I am counting these LED's for the purpose of buying similar(what can i say, i'm lazy).
Astropins consists of:
G906 - 4
R906 - 1
W906 - 3
