I think you forgot a con. New games will have problems that you need to resolve. Pins are complicated and QA doesn't catch all the issues.
On my ac/dc premium:
-Backbox neon tube never worked (glass tube broken off the end)
-Right lower playfield flipper sticks in the up position (too tight against the playfield and won't return)
-Lower playfield GI never worked (two pin Z connector was missing one pin on one side)
-About a dozen bulbs burned out thus far (incandescent and LEDs, some in positions very very annoying to fix)
All not too difficult to fix but something to take into consideration with a new pin. There will be things to fix.
Still though, my favorite game in my lineup and don't regret my decision one bit. There really are just two rules to pinball.
1. Acquire more pinball
2. Don't acquire less pinball
