Mine is not a matching serial either, but I will say I did get my deposit in the moment AFMR ordering went live. Maybe that helped?
Quoted from MrSanRamon:S/N 034 damaged in shipping...no AFMr for Bob!
Heartbreaking
I made the final payment weeks ago; checking my inbox daily for the "it shipped" email, the wait is agonizing! I can't imagine finally seeing the truck show up and having to turn it away.
Got a call from the shipper, sadly my pin did not fit on the truck after they loaded up their deliveries for the day Have to wait until Monday. Unfortunate, but I have waited this long, I can tough it out a few more days!
@Dimagio,
I would absolutely go for the LE. Unpacked mine today; the topper is just out of this world (har!). Seriously, the topper is gorgeous and the mirror blades just add that final touch. If you can swing it financially and you love AFM, you will have absolutely no regrets splurging for the LE.
Quoted from john17a:can one of lucky one please advise on cliffys spoken to cliffy and protectors have been sdjusted but please tell me which ones are needed and do i need the ramp protectors thanks in advance
I took a good look at the playfield when I unpacked mine and I have to say major kudos to Chicago Gaming on PF protection. The ramps have metal protectors so you should be good there. The scoop has mantis style, but mine were installed almost flush. The only spot I was even moderately concerned about was the drop targets but it looks like they put extra mylar squares and such in those spots, along with mylar for the ball drops.
I actually ordered a AFM set from Cliff but personally after seeing the protection that it comes with, I am not going to install anything extra right now unless I see wear or chipping. For HUO, unless you and your family are playing around the clock - hundreds of games a day, probably won't remotely be an issue.
Quoted from sirlonzelot:I watched some gameplay videos and it looks like that the martians move other then the original.
It seems that the original martians Jump faster and higher. Can anyone confirm this ?
Correct, wife and I noticed this as well. Actually the jumping martians was pretty much my wife's favorite part of the game.. lol. We ended up setting ours to strong which is closer to how we remembered it on the original. It is a tad loud but they really wave their little arms around like crazy, it is pretty hilarious.
