I heard a rumor that AFMR standards were shipping with a regular sized dmd with color installed.. I am picking one up this week can anyone confirm this or is it BS

Mine and 3 others that came from the distro all had color dmd, sweet deal with no extra charge

Why not call who you bought it from and ask? That would have been one of my first questions when I bought it.

Matt..... they are not supposed to come with them. These are just shipping and my dist. has not got them as of today. Heard this from a few people and that will be GREAT if true.
