This machine is loud - I currently have it set on the lowest/second-lowest volume setting and it's still plenty loud.
Two. There is a pretty audible hiss/buss coming from the speaker mostly noticible before you plunge a ball when its quiet but 'playing'

I found this old thread which sounded like the same issue but for TSPP - https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/tspp-speaker-humbuzz-fixed - has any AFMr owners experience this? or tried a fix like this?

I have the same first issue on my AFMr, no speaker buzz. I play it on volume level 1.

Yea i wasn't sure if they were related.. entirely possible it's just an defective woofer cause a hum/buzz/rattle at a particular frequency.

I remember hearing that this distortion happens if you change the backbox lighting from that of the original settings? Could that help?

it sure is a loud game! yes, change the back lighting and see if that gets rid of the buzz sound. it should work.
