AFM: Worth it to paint just the mothership?

I was planning on painting my AFM mini-saucers and mothership today. I ordered titanium paint a while ago, and it just got here yesterday. I was about to take all the mini saucers out, when I realized that because I have the Ung mod installed, it's going to be a bit of a chore to take them out and put them back in. Whoops.

So, until I decide I have more time for this project, I was thinking about just painting the mothership and leaving the mini saucers the stock color. It could be quite a while that the saucers will be in this partially painted state.

I did them all at one time...............yes a lil' bit of a chore but so worth it. Doing the mother ship is fine for now but I would have them all the same. That stock grey is so dull and lifeless.

I'm in the same boat. What paint did you order? I gave some chrome rustoleum. I guess that's different?

I painted the mothership a chrome aluminum and the smaller ones a flourescent green. I think it looks good.

I think your odds of getting a uniform finish on all is better if you paint them all at once.
