A swap is really the best time to address the entire topside and rebuild all of the mechanical elements. A game like AFM is worth the effort. I would replace as much of the topside as you can:
Posts
Rubber
Plastics
Ramps
Scoops
Pop bumper everything
And under the playfield:
Rebuild all the mechanisms
New coil sleeves
Rubber grommets on solenoid mechanisms
Coil wrappers
