Did you remove the reserve? If you did, I applaud you. Not a lot of people have the guts to put a machine up like this without a reserve. Makes it a true auction. (Assuming you actually let it go like that) Good luck!
Wow no reserve ... GLWS!
Just keep in mind the new Ebay policy of if an item has a bid, you can't end it without paying a FVF on the bid price.
Quoted from spfxted:Must have been when they figured out how they were getting screwed....
lol, you're right about that
For the record, I do prefer to pay them for use of their service. But 2 or 3 times I had to end early to make a good deal. Ain't no thang to me . Thanks to Eryeal for bringing it up, I would not have known otherwise.

Me either! Thanks!
Quoted from LTG:Best wishes with your auction. That game deserves a good home.

Hope we can find it one Lloyd

Take off reserve and have a buddy on wait in case it doesn't go for what you want it to....I mean, what!?

Wow seriously that is some bullshit, that is news to me. I know they raised the fees on buy it now. Before you could get away with less fees on buy it now, compared to regular auction. Now they are the same.
Quoted from jrivelli:Take off reserve and have a buddy on wait in case it doesn't go for what you want it to....I mean, what!?
Even if you do that you still have to pay the fees, right? My point really only applies though if someone let's it's go as a legitimate no reserve auction.

Yeah. Dang that ebay for figuring that one out

No - because if a buddy buys it, then you just initiate a cancel transaction (both seller and buyer have to approve the cancel for it to work). Once both approve, the fees are refunded. That's really the only way to avoid them. But do this with the same accounts more than once or twice, and Ebay will catch on and suspend the accounts.

OK. Thanks for clarifying that.
Oh well all I know is this game is a beauty and hope it does find a good home. I would like to get 14 or 15k which i dont think is bad considering this paticular game.
Scott
Quoted from VolunteerPin:Dang, Skooter, how many nice pins you have? I'm loving the LOTR LE we got from you recently. You still own the GC score of 210million although my 9 y.o. has the next up at 138million (and then me at 108mil). GLWS. I'm sure it should fetch a nice price.
Darin
You will never beat my score LOL good game by a 9 year old sweet!! Glad you like the game Darin! I am hoping it goes to a nice home of other prototypes or a nice collection.
Scott
Well it died at 12,500 on the last attempt, and I bumped it to that level it was 12,100 before i bid.

Prices are down across the board on older machines from what Ive seen. Six months ago a HEP prototype AFM would have been snapped up quickly at 14k IMO. (A couple MM's went for up towards 20K) Now, not so. We'll see what happens.
Quoted from TigerLaw:Great looking game. One of the nicest AFM's in existence. This auction will help demonstrate the value of a high end AFM, something hotly debated on this site. I will be interested to see where we end up here.
We shall see market is fairly slow right now but somebody is gonna get a great game. i have had so trade offers as well.

He just got 123million a few minutes ago too. One more 100million+ game and it will take 100million to even get on the board.
Quoted from bladerunner:Btw, why are u selling it? Sooo nice
Because i like money LOL j/k Just figured it is a peice that belongs in somebody's asweome big collection of other protos and such. Thats my real reason. I just keep a small collection now of 5 or so games
Scott
Quoted from skooter710:Happy Fathers Day Now buy you Dad this game And if your a dad buy it for yourself !
Glad to see you have some bids on this gorgeous game now!!!
Scott you went through tons of planning finding a proto sending it off and waiting a year. Surprised you don"t want to keep it forever and enjoy it after waiting to own it for all that time. I have two games at hep and yes who knows I may sell them one day but after waiting all this time if I could afford to I would keep them for a long while if not forever. If its a money thing I understand but I look at those pics i just drool how gorgeous and am glad I am currently not in position to buy it.
Best of luck with your sale someone is getting one of the nicest AFM ever.
I noticed in reading the auction listing that it will take 3-8 weeks for the game to ship after the auction has concluded. Is that accurate, just out of curiosity?

Not a money thing It was over a year plus the time to peice it all together just though some high end collector would love this pin more then me
Scott
Quoted from McCune:Summertime is a bad time to move pins. I would wait until fall/winter to sell that pin.
Your probably correct on this

No that is not correct i should change that Lol
Quoted from Concretehardt:When did Chris restore this game?
Chris posted recently when he reassembled it. Search for pics and details.
