I've watched a few videos and noticed on most AFMs the stroke of luck vuk delivers the ball to the middle of the left flipper.

Mine hits the ball guide or the bottom of the left sling.

Things I've tried
Replaced the plunger, sleeve and spring
Checked it's the correct coil
Added washers to one side of the mech to try tilt it.
Added a rubber ring to the plunger so it doesn't kick so hard (mixed results)

Here's a video showing a few slow motion videos of the kickout.

There's some wear inside the mech. I'm not sure if that would cause it?

The wear is where the ball sits, it will effect the launch.

I'd grab a big pliers and bend the chute part that stick up and is curved to the right a little to aim the ball to the right.

I didn't think that would have much impact. I'll give the bending a go.
Bend down one edge more than the other? Which edge do you think? My mind says try bend the left but I might have it backwards.

I can get a replacement mech for £50 but seems expensive if it doesn't fix the issue. Although I can't see what else it would be so you're probably right!

Grab on left side and bend towards the right. ( counter clockwise )

I tried to bend it but I could only get the whole lip to bend as one, was difficult to try get some sort of tilt/curve on one edge.

I resorted back to using a thicker stretched spring and it does go more to the right now, but it's still inconsistent as hell.

Would that worn part make it that inconsistent?
I fiddled with it while the mech was out of the pin and noticed that sometimes the ball does tilt slightly into that worn part when the plunger goes up.

WPC vuks usually are quite consistent aren't they?
I watched a vid of a remake AFM and the guy was able to reliably live catch nearly every eject from his SoL.

I ordered a new one because knowing me it'll bother me. I just hope it solves it.

Nice new mech and to be honest it's no different!

It's not worn, the curve is different to my older one but still it hits ball guide.
New spring, new sleeve.

I've even swapped in a 26-1000 coil to see if it changes it and it's not drastically different.
This is infuriating! At this point I can only assume this is by design and maybe with age it gets weaker if in the wild and not maintained.

New vuk appears to be a waste of money at present
