I dont see how you can call this a "blown out" AFM...This was in much better than average shape for a non-restored example.
What is a joke is the truly blown out games that need a new playfield and cabinet going for $6K+

Trust me , it is a blown out afm without cabinet fade . The Pf has tons of wear and the front of the cabinet has a big chunk out of the front that has been glued back into place .
The price went up because the pictures looked good enough to the person with a untrained eye !
Although it did look better than some ,it will take all the same parts as a faded one to make it real nice .Jim
Interesting.... can you give me a clue where you see that? I was thinking this would be bought by someone that would use it as-is.. definitely not worth it if it requires a full restoration. (and price is nuts anyway but prices are what they are..)
It happens when someone pulls the machine out of a truck and snags the edge and pulls the wood and art work right off the cabinet. Seen this many times !

Thanks! I assumed that was a scratch because i didnt see it carrying through but now that you mention it I can see it. Pics are just fuzzy enough i guess.
I knew i saw that pattern before... check out what some clown did to this game...
