This seems like a good thing - otherwise you would have already made it to the wizard mode, and then it would have been too easy.

You need challenges to get past and nobodies had enough time on AS to make an educated call on if this is truly a "roadblock" challenge versus one that just takes more skill and time. Additionally, there are usually settings to adjust various difficulties throughout the game. The current complexity of modern games requires at least a month or two in home use by the larger mass of players before these types of issues can really be identified.

I'll use TWD as an example - the mass majority hated on it for a couple minor (major to some) issues: cheap drains and the call outs - they also said the code sucked. BUT - the code did not change THAT drastically - except for the wizard modes being improved/added, and various tweaks (like walker bombs on Premium/LEs). What was really turning people off was the fact that it was too hard, and they had crappy games. After a small number of people kept insisting it was good, others gave it a fair shot and now it's considered one of the best. Although most people don't want to admit they were wrong in their earlier opinion, so they blame it on the earlier code - but they never actually identify what the rule change was that made the big difference. You can't say "Walker Bombs", since both the Pro and Premium are highly regarded now. It took time for people to get good enough at the game and to understand the rules.
