Those of you with this issue, have you checked Switch 32 - Toy Box Lid? This switch may act like a EOS switch and tell the CPU when to go to hold power. OR is could be if this switch is not working, the CPU considers the lid mechanism broken.
Also, those of you with this issue, does the toy box lid "rattle" or shake up and down at multiball start during the animation?
Go into switch test and slowly open the lid to see when the switch registers.
