I have played both. I bought an AS. Both are pretty fun. SW is going to be hard pressed to live up to expectations on theme, but it is fun. Also, SW is pretty complicated to understand full, evwn after 15 plays, AS less so.
AS outlanes are brutal, both have some satisfying shots. Loved SW audio!
AS is not Kiss. Go play KISS again, learn those rules (multipliers), that game is a blast in its own right.
I was dissapointed with SW art package in general , that may have been unavoidable too. AS art package has to be in sterns top 3 ever.
I think I read somebody in this thread say that the AS art was too busy.. Wow.
I prefer AS gameplay , looking forward to more polished code. Wouldn't rule out a SW at some point
