I'd open up your manual to page 19 and see if you can figure out which light it's referring to.

Quoted from Jgel:Are these like old Christmas lights where if one goes out they all go out?
Look in your manual on page 10, top right where it explains input/output protections. "Groups of LEDs,..."
Quoted from Jgel:It looks like ALL of Playfield GI-3 #133 are out.
Quoted from Jgel:If I run a Node Bus Test on board 9 they come back on. But if I back out of Bus Test they go back off again.
Quoted from Jgel:GI-Backpannel is out as well.
GI-Backpanel has a different address, per page 20 in the manual.
It's a clue that they work in test but quit immediately after. Do they come on immediately after booting up, then go off after a game is started? Do they work in attract mode but not during a game? Trying to figure out if something is shorting only during a specific game state...
Quoted from Jgel:If I boot up they are off. They turn on when I run the bus test. When I start a game they go off again.
Coils energize during boot up on #aerosmith ? I'm not sure. Could be voltage from a coil getting to the GI circuitry during boot up. GI shuts down. Comes on during test, shuts down again when game starts and coils are energized again. I wonder if running coil tests would shut them down again? That might tell you which coil is shorting (if that's the root cause).
See any coil connectors touching near the GI acting up? Can you stand the playfield up against the backbox to get a good look at everything under there?
Quoted from wdpvideo:Which board is 9
If you have an Aerosmith (Pro) it's on page 11 of the manual. Described as "Playfield 48V Core-Driver Node".
