MAP will be lower than MSRP. Gonna be too expensive for me, but it looks better than I expected, and I'll look forward to playing it on location

The game looks like a ton of fun, but $6.2K is outta my league.

MSRP in CDN for a pro: $9400 (13% tax included) = I don't f*ing think so. Now I know it won't be that much but it will be about $8500-$8700 maybe which is still "stupid money for a pro" Stern can ride their "love in an elevator" alone.

Maybe for that price they'll hire some programmers that put out code more than once a year.

#10 2 years ago

Ghostbusters PRO MSRP $5,995 (Add 200 to whatever you paid for Ghostbusters and thats the street price)

Whoopee!!!

#12 2 years ago

Just recently got my metallica led pro for $ 4995.00. Man prices are jumping. Guess the new street price for a pro is $5795.00. Game does look fun thou.

#13 2 years ago

Only way I justify the pro price increase is not needing to buy a color DMD for it so yay for the LCD screen I guess

reusing ideas from stern IJ?

#15 2 years ago

Based on every Stern game ever made it will have shit rules until 2021, there's sure to be a few untested design flaws to surface via Pinsiders 3 months after shipping begins aaaand yall wont see yo game for 6 months after deposit.

Looks purdy tho

You guys should totally send a ton of money right now!

I like the speaker panel, neat

#16 2 years ago

Looks really cool but those prices...sheesh. No more 5k games, everything will be 6k and up.

#17 2 years ago

A machine I would laugh at if I saw on location and would be embarrassed to have in my home, therefore I'm out.

#18 2 years ago

I think it looks like fun and can't wait to play it. Is the lead programmer mentioned for this game?

Approximate street prices:
PRO = $5195
PREMIUM = $6995
LE = $8295

MSRP compared to Ghostbusters:
PRO = +$200
PREMIUM = +$300
LE = +$200

Any chance of the ColorDMD guys doing a retro kit back to a DMD? The animations in the video leave a LOT to be desired.

The artwork is amazing. Don nailed it!

What video?

That's the Kiss layout!
3 pops on the left. Center ramp. Star child shot left of center ramp. Genes fat head on right shot.
Scoop on bottom left like kiss.
Dude looks like a Kiss VE. Lol.
Who knows, hope it's really fun!

Pin, before we met you, we were F.I.N.E. fine.

$6200 for a Pro, no thanks. That's ridiculous, and almost $10k for an LE, guess the BM66 really was to test the waters on how much money people will spend on a game. Bait was taken as planned, and now everything costs too much IMO.

For all the whining about prices, these increases are not that much over pre LCD games.

#34 2 years ago

Backbox looks like ass, but looks like a fun playfield. Upper level Elevator and the multiball looks like it could be cool.

#35 2 years ago

Looks cool.
I know people are complaining about the price increase but with GB you did not get the large color DMD, here you do.

My objection thus far is the silly animations. I mean, why cant they incorporate some live footage and really utilize the new display to its potential. I assume they would add more songs with code revisions which would be good but I would have liked to see some real live footage on the DMD, not animated crap.

I like the PF layout though.

#36 2 years ago

From the game play video on Stern's FB: Love the 70's styled animations. Useless upper pf. Clown voice same as Sparky. Same bonus counting sounds as Kiss... Pass.

Stern's Facebook. I actually think the LCD animations for this looks amazing.

MSRP remember. Street price will be lower. Geez, how many times do we have to have the MSRP vs street price reminder.

$6200 is MSRP which is usually ~$1000 higher than street.

AS many times as we have to be reminded that when the MSRP goes up so does the street price.

Let me say something nice

Its good to see the Stern DMD gone

#42 2 years ago

Im not a huge Aerosmith fan but it looks pretty damn nice IMHO. Toys in the Attic 6 Ball Multi-Ball looks pretty cool too. I wish there was a pinball place near me. I'd love to play it before plopping down that kind of money for any version. Looks good though.

Reminds me of Scared Stiff a little bit...

You used to be able to get a NIB pin for almost half the price, though...

#45 2 years ago

Prefer the pro artwork and probably better flow without upper p/f.

Just a shame prices keep increasing.

If it were Lyman on the code, could have been tempted.

Half of $5200? Not recently.

Cramped upper playfield with a full size filpper is a weird choice.

#48 2 years ago

This game would be even better with actual footage of the band. The animations look like they came from "The Simpsons." I'm pumped they made this and it looks like a great design and beautiful art. This is basically the KISS pf layout.

Thanks, I like the animations and the video effects. It looks fun! I'd much rather animations than concert footage of the band....
