Quoted from Rascal_H:

Anyone added a shaker to their pro? How's it feel?

Maybe with next AS code update, the shaker with be more interactive with the game. As it is now, when I compare it to my MET, the AS shaker is undeniably much less interactive.

... the shaker & more importantly the "smart missiles" need to be included more in AS, then ... who knows, it could possibly out-shine MET

Go on Stern, make this game a solid A title - it's nearly there

Not sure if I missed a post on this but has anyone done a custom card set for Aerosmith Pro yet?!

... you betcha!

Anybody have one that is a little less hard core???

you call that hard core?

I added the "super modes" to this one ...

AWESOME
Thanks for your effort
my machine will wear that card with pride
AJB

my pleasure, AJB. I changed mine to this one too once I finally redesigned it. The handy list of super modes & their appropriate shots is extremely helpful during each mode. I found it's really the only way to have a killer game on AS, just follow the modes in the sequence listed, starting with Walk This Way.

Quoted from HOOKED:

How many people have the stern side rails?
I added them to my pro and I think they really finish the art work package.

I added them as well. Really think they look great on the pro. As if it wasn't already a stunning art package, these Stern custom rails just put it over the top. Well worth the $250.

that is by far the best looking AS Premium I've seen!

Has anyone out there found it necessary to install a Cliffy shooter lane protector on AS? Even though Stern has a partial protector in place which covers most of the area, I noticed there is a specific one available from Pinball Life.
Anyone find it necessary to install the full protector or is the factory one good enough?

#610 6 years ago
Quoted from Shapeshifter:

Double Cliffy protection for me!
Stern shooter lanes ain't as durable as they were a few years ago so protection is a must.

i think you're right, i'm going with the double Cliffy. Thanks guys

that looks sick dude!!!

Looks awesome. I've been really thinking about powder coating my AS pro as well. Did Robert Stone do this work?

Quoted from ZEN:

Yeah I know I need some scorecards...

Use these ones I designed when I first got mine this year. Going after Walk This Way first seems to work out best for me.

Speaker light kit installed and looking good...

That looks awesome, do you have upgraded Flipper Fidelity speakers?
If so, did you need an extra bracket to install the speakers lights over top of the FF speakers.

Quoted from Shapeshifter:

my vote would be pro. Better value and smoother.

My buddy has an LE & I have a Pro. We've had them both for a year now & I find the upper playfield is a huge waste of space. More importantly, the most annoying part is the ramp coming off the upper playfield was designed way too steep & drains 9 out of 10 times down the middle, unless you shake the shit out of it. The right ramp on the Pro is a smooth as silk. So glad I bought the Pro!

#1053 6 years ago
Quoted from KingBW:

I'm one of the people that dislikes GB because of the cheap drains

... now that you mention GB. Can the flippers be any wider apart? Trudeau must've had his mind elsewhere when he made that flaw. I'd love GB if it weren't for this huge blunder, & putting an add-on apron post in the middle (as some have done) is, IMHO f'en ridiculous.

#1056 6 years ago
Quoted from PW79:

Purdy sure I read somewhere here the intended JT gap was accidentally applied twice to the cad file at some point resulting in a 2x JT gap.
Seems like someone measured the GB gap compared to other JT gap & confirmed the rumor.
Or it was all a shitshow of speculation?

Now that makes sense. I knew it had to be a mistake. I won't bash JT, he's got other problems to worry about.

Ultimate AS Pro!
Just installed my speaker lights (Doug at Speaker Light Kits is undeniably top shelf!) with my custom stainless steel mirror finish speaker grill & topper, custom sculpted Jackie & Jackie shooter rod, Joe Perry replica guitars, side armor with EL lighting. Yep, she's a keeper!

#1288 6 years ago
Quoted from JimB:

Amazing setup and mods. Can they be purchased somewhere?

Both toppers & speaker grills are custom laser cut with water jet laser cutter, from my original designs. Joe Perry replica guitars are from Mini Guitars (from Indonesia so it took like over 5 months to deliver) I custom sculpted (hydraulic clay) Jacky simply because I just got tired of looking at that butt ugly nut sack under his chin.

Great job on Metallica and Aerosmith, Maclean!

Thanks earflaps. I bet you are happy with your decision getting your MET instead of buying my ACDC, right?

Maybe someone can help me out, I updated the code successfully, however, when I push start nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Should I re-update it over again?

Powder coated my pro...Color is phase blue.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

the blue side armor & legs looks awesome! Good choice. I believe AS is still one of the most visually stunning pins out there.

Someone please answer this question: I just don't understand why all my pinball buddies have a huge hate on for AS. I've loved it since the day I bought it. In my eyes it's going to be a keeper, right beside my Metallica. Every time I hear "oh, you should trade Aerosmith" I'm like STFU already. Can someone explain their reasoning? It's such an fun game.

Quoted from darkryder:

I installed these EL inserts in the side armor on my Aerosmith LE today and they make a loud humming sound.

Mine hum as well but they look so f'en killer I just turn up the volume
