So my toy box was doing this when I first got along with it not letting me pick the song. I fixed the toy box by turning it off, lifting playfield, and physically rotating the motor that controls the inside part 180 degrees so it was activating the opposite switch upon startup. It fixed my toy box issue along with letting me pick my songs. Disclaimer, I’m a newb and know nothing about pinball maintenance, I was just trying things and this worked for me. Maybe try updating your code as well. Goodluck
