Just hung up with JJ and put my deposit down on a pro. Pretty stoked as I'm a 70's kid and Rocks was one of my first and remains one of my favorite albums. Pinball and rock n' roll were all I cared about (not a lot has changed lol).

Just an observation, I spent quite a while adjusting my levelers last night and found that a 7.1 degree playfield angle made every shot feel "right" to me. I set it up at 6.5 out of the box last week and after several adjustments 7.1, and obviously being perfectly level, made a world of difference. I can even make the orbit shots pretty consistently which were giving me fits until last night.
Quoted from Shapeshifter:Well, debating whether to do something I have never done before on a game.......
Bring the outlanes in!
The outlanes on AS seem brutal!
Anyone done this or maybe I just play better
I admit to doing it. It doesn't help as much as I thought it would. These outlanes are just a bitch.
Agree with all Dave posted above with an emphasis on the 5 or 6 ball multiball with super ramps and a multiplier or two going. It's quite a grind for me to get 250 million plus.
Quoted from sirlonzelot:I think the reject problem is sloved. I had installed a pu shooter lane protectors. I removed it and i had no problems till now.
For the sound, I checked the connection but they are all ok. The cabinet speaker works but not the backbox speakers. I think the CPU board has a damage
Hope my dealer can fix it soon
I had this issue when I got mine, it was a bad node board. Stern sent me a new one after I contacted my dealer.
Edit: The sound issue is what I was referring
Quoted from sirlonzelot:My sound issue is back again, I disconnected the node boards. But the same.
Seems that I have a bad cpu board
Hope that I a get a replacement very soon ...
My apologies, mine was the CPU board as well. Luckily the replacement fixed the issue and the game has been perfect since. Also there is a small jumper from c15 to a pin just to the right that wasn’t included on the new board from Stern that I needed to use from the old board. If your backbox LEDs don’t work that’s why.
Quoted from Rascal_H:Maybe my game is setup wrong. I can’t backhand the right ramp. Maybe I haven’t tried hard enough.
My playfield needs to be freshly waxed to get enough oomph on the shot. Not a great feeling when it doesn’t make it all the way up because if it's coming back down, it’s usually trouble. Pitch is at about 7.0.
