Could hurt a trade.
Yikes, I had my privacy set wrong. Thanks for the FYI!

Quoted from Trekkie1978:Anyone selling a topper?
How much are you looking to spend?
New SD card did not fix my Pros issues.
It is intermittent, but always at the wrong time.
I just bought a new CPU and hopefully, I can get the old one fixed later.
New CPU card showed up today, it looked a little different than the one I removed.
So far so good, working 100% issue free thus far.
I made sure to wear some surgical gloves to have an insulator layer.
I will keep the old cpu in case they can get fixed down the road.
Anyone have a set of Purple side armor?
Black is still available, but my wife prefers the purple.
I bought a Pro so I could mod it.
Quoted from BMHouze:I will keep the old cpu in case they can get fixed down the road.
Have you tried the old SD card with the new CPU board?
I know Rob Anthony repairs some node board failures. Email him your issue to see if he will repair it.
My issues were sporadic.
Without a test jig it will probably be on the self a while.
But I will look into it.
Your old SD card already has the game code and was "running". Swap it later at some point and use it to see if it works without any issues. This will prove your old CPU board was your only problem.
How do I stop the ball from going airborne on the right ramp? I like to Jack the rear legs up, when I do, it goes airborne, hits the plastic and rolls back down the ramp.
You have to stay in the bubble.
I had to lower mine.
Otherwise you will have to start messing with the coils strength settings.
2 in lock during multiball usually ends up with one on the left wireform.
This pin damn near destroys itself with flying balls (especially jacked).

sounds like too much power on flipper coils or ramp entrance is a little bent.
Quoted from BMHouze:LED flipper buttons was a cheaply priced mod.
Cheaper than 2 sets of premium balls.
I may add some black tape next time I am inside.
[quoted image]
Yeah, I hate that light bleed through with the LED buttons. I usually double up the black plastic nuts and add electrical tape over the tops to block it out from inside the cab
Any suggestions on replacing the lettering around the action button on the lockdown bar? Mine is faded. Marcos no longer offers.
Quoted from pinner11:Anyone have time on an Aerosmith Pro and Foo Fighter Pro? Currently have a NIB FF Pro but thinking of trading for a Aerosmith Pro with under 500 plays. Like both bands and haven’t been able to play an Aerosmith as there is none near me. Any input appreciated.
I own an Aerosmith Pro and have played a bit of FF Pro. Foo is a better game. More shots, more unique shots, and deeper code.
But...Aerosmith has the better toy (toybox) and is more approachable for beginners. Plus, I like the music better

Foo has better rules and more unique shots.
Aerosmith is very straightforward....I don't ever see it leaving my collection.
Foo is much faster too.
If you can only get one I'd get Foo. But I bought my Aerosmith new and it's never leaving. Aerosmith has straight forward rules I like
I’m seconding All of the above points made.
With the added echo of
IF you can only have 1, and themes are equal,
Then go FF.
That AS toybox & 6 ball MB is something special tho. you don’t see many for sale.

I love it...all the owners (myself included!) saying Foo is better...but no way we're getting rid of Aerosmith
Quoted from scootss:I love it...all the owners (myself included!) saying Foo is better...but no way we're getting rid of Aerosmith
I don’t necessarily think foo is better. I think it has better shots and better rules. But I love my Aerosmith. It’s never leaving my collection.
Foo has better rules, shots and art than Iron Man…..but I will take Iron Man over foo every single time.
I’ll stick with Aerosmith because the art is great, fun to shoot, the 2 multiballs are fun and different from each other. I like how straight forward the rules are. Not every game needs to be like Wizard of Oz or Lord of the Rings. Factor in Aerosmith is one of my all-time favorite bands.
Thanks for the responses everyone. Seems like a toss up but with 3 young kids I like that Aerosmith is easier and more straightforward. Going to try to get it doesn’t work out I will stick with FF.

I think the kids may know Aerosmith better.
There’s the Disney ride. Their music has been in a lot of movies. There’s guitar hero Aerosmith.

I am in a similar boat, I reached out to GeekedOnPinball regarding the file mentioned in their post last year but haven’t heard anything.
Joined the club today. Picked up a 1 owner under 500 plays Pro. Such a beautiful game. Previous owner hadn’t updated the code since they bought it in 2017. Can’t wait to get all the mods in it and really clean it up!

The post between the Pop bumpers may come loose from time to time. So you may want to check it.
The second time mine fell out it came sliding down the playfield doing a game. I took Who-Dey's advice and removed it completely. It's setting in the coin box now.
I would get an Aerosmith. Stern did not make a lot of them and can not make another run due to the licensing running out. The AS premiums are even harder to find than as AS pro. Stern has made a lot more FF and finding one down the road will be easier.
I wonder how many Aerosmith Premium’s was made, I’m lucky to own one. When I got it I was the second owner 3 years ago now, here in the U.K it had no love for the game but now it’s more wanted.
Quoted from Tommy-dog:The AS premiums are even harder to find than AS pro
Yeah and many pros out there ops have routed for years now. Finding an AS in great shape these days is a win no matter what version.
Quoted from BMHouze:Watch for a 30h anniversary model.
[quoted image]
What’s the deal with the 30th anniversary model? Any differences is it an early or late version?
They are just from one year of the entire run. Nothing different.
Just have that little extra marking.

Good call thanks! The post was definitely loose and I will have to look into removing. Loving the game so far!

When I got my game, the post was removed and I played it that way for a year. I put it back in and I think it plays better with it in. Almost as if that's the way the designer wanted it
My 2 cents...if it is loose, just tighten it

Looking at the playfield artwork I think the designer originally wanted a slimmer post there...........but those pops take a beating on every launch so I can see the need to reduce the ball action in there.
I recently picked up a Pro model with a severely damage head. Any chance someone has one lying around? I can build a new one, but I still need the artwork if anyone knows of a source.
Thanks

Have a distributor?
They can order from Stern.

I saw someone selling a full Aerosmith cabinet a few months ago. Might have been pinside...not sure...
I am having the odd ball to the TB for lock that doesn't seem to register.
Anyone had this?
I took the cover plate off, the things that look like 3 lights on each side need some isopropyl?
That's my best guess.

Possibly.
I would also check the opto receiver cable on the underside of the Toy Box (the 3-pin connector on the right). It will cause either no detection in the box or erratic in-play ball dumps out of the box if it's not properly seated.
I've had that issue presumably from all the vibration that occurs there.

Rolpa had one for sale.

Start with the switch test. IIRC, there are three optos on each side. They can come loose and get out of alignment, so it may be a case of just adjusting and re-tightening.
If you move your finger all around the box and it never registers, it is probably the connector as mentioned above. If one or two of the switches doesn't trigger then it could be alignment or cleaning.
