Aerosmith code is 4GB! How long does code update take?

Hey guys. Doing my first code update on AS. Going from 1.02 to 1.03. I hit "select" and my pin has been stuck on this screen for about 3 hours. No progress bar. Buttons non-responsive. There's a flashing LED on the board, like maybe it's downloading. I know it's a huge file, but even so. Seems like it shouldn't take this long. Can any other Aerosmith owners chime in? Do you recall how long it took? Do you recall a progress bar?

Is it safe to power cycle and try again? I'm hesitant to do so in case it is actually in the middle of updating.

Took mine only a couple of minutes. Nothing happens hitting the select button again in the coin door? Should start updating after this screen I believe.

Nothing. Like it's frozen.

you unzipped the files too I assume? Should be 2 files in the root directory on the thumb drive. You should see a screen that it's unpacking and then installing. he whole process is quicker than SAM games actually.

Ok. Seems like nothing is happening then. Time for a do over.

It's a bug. I had to reset mine 3 times before it went through.

4GB? It amazes me how early solid state games were only 4KB-16KB or so and WPC era games were only a few megs.

This. It finally took after a couple retries/power cycles. And it went very quickly. Thanks everybody!
