That's my biggest beef with the game so far.
Yeah I would also be getting VERY antsy waiting for the ball lock once the initial novelty wears off (which would be quick for me). That was one of the reasons I had to dump TAF ages ago as I got tired of waiting for Thing to fool with the ball just to show the trick.
I find these kind of gimmicks fun to watch at first but after a short time I'm like "just let me play". And it's not like waiting on an animation that can be skipped with the flipper buttons.
Plus there seems to be a bit of "dumb luck" to the lock shot but if others don't seem to mind that maybe it's ok.
